    Stagg re-signs

    Hopefully he'll consolidate a spot as Queensland's lock this year too!

    Best or Most influential one match performance

    Fittler aganist the Kiwis in 1995 was the best individual performance I've seen. He was simply awesome.

    Best player of the Decade.

    Has to be The General. It's no coincidence that 2008 ended so poorly while he was injured. (Or last year's Prelim for that matter!)

    Should the 8 point power play stay?

    No, I didn't like it. Maybe it's a worthwhile gimmick for the All-Stars match each year only.

    Folau wants AFL to thrive

    What a KNOB.

    noiw that lote is coming back

    He'll go alright. At least he can teach a few of the young blokes a thing or two so the Tigers will get good value out of him.

    What If...

    I hope never to be faced with a dilemma such as this. I love the game too much to walk away, I suppose I'd adopt another team, probably Storm, given I live in Melbourne and see more of their games than any other team now anyway.

    I prefer Big League and buy it every week, but will still buy RLW occasionally. Rugby League Review is a very good option too, I've had a subscription for a few years now and will keep it up.

    09 :: PF2 Sat :: Storm 40 Broncos 10 @ Etihad

    Storm by 4. The Broncos are no finals novices, and they've done it before without a halfback (sorry Shane Perry, but it's the truth!), but the week off will have given plenty of time to prepare and the home ground advantage is too strong down there.

    09 :: PF1 Fri :: Bulldogs 12 Eels 22 @ ANZ

    The Dogs have only lost 6 games this year. The next best is Storm and Saints with 9. We are the underDogs because Parra are in form, but we have consistency, composure and teamwork on our side. The Dogs will win by 1 - 12 and will need to do their homework to tackle the Storm the following Sunday.

    Worst RL injuries?

    One of the worst I saw was Danny Peacock dislocating his hip in the early 1990s. After it happened, he was laying face down with one one knee facing up and one facing down. It looked unbelievably painful.

    luke Macdougall

    As long as he doesn't cost too much it can't hurt to have him on the books. He wouldn't be the worst back-up player we've ever signed!!

    Who you guys wanna play 1st round, Newcastle or Penrith

    I agree B4L. We need to beat whoever shows up to play against us. I have been extremely impressed with the way we have won so many games this year without seeming to get flustered. I fear that this has been heavily influenced by Noddy's presence, but hopefully the attitude has flowed on to the...

    R26 v Tigers, match discussion & team to be named

    I don't have a lot of faith in Holdsworth's defence, but he appears to be playing for his future over the next few weeks, so perhaps he'll surprise me and aim up. I think Barba at this stage is a bench proposition at best, but I wouldnt take any of teh current benchies away to make room for him...
