    There's no great secret why crowds have been disappointing, venues were chosen on the basis of who paid the most, not where the crowds are. We all knew it before the tournament started. Had NSW not withdrawn their bid we wouldn't be as disappointed.

    He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and got 200hrs community service, the fine wasn't in lieu of a prison sentence, it was damages awarded in a civil suit that Lodge didn't contest.
