    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

2008 sold out, 2017 likely wont, therefore pricing is wrong. Even if you accept the game doesn't hold the same interest as it did in 2008, the pricing should reflect that. Either it's too expensive for what people expect to pay and tickets should therefore be cheaper, or people don't really care...

can't solve it with empty seats either, what do you reckon people at the ground and watching on tv think of a "major sporting event" with thousands of empty seats? They think it's not a major sporting event! The market dictates the value of something, calling it a major sporting event doesn't...

knowing they're apathetic probably suggests tickets should be as affordable as possible. No one apathetic about an event is going to pay hundreds to see it.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

A stadium with empty bays for a world cup final costs the game more than what it makes from some exorbitant tickets. This is the games advertisement to the world, to future sponsors, bidding nations, players, governments, and fans. What impression does it give them if the final has thousands of...

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

despite what you believe and what we all wish, the Rugby League World Cup is only worth what people are willing to pay, and considering there are thousands of tickets left unsold a few days out from the game, it's fair to assume that a lot of people don't value it that highly.

I was confident the final would sell out, but a few days out and it's not looking good. It will be beyond embarrassing if we have bays of empty seats behind the posts like last week. Pricing is obviously wrong for there to still be soo many tickets available & the "but its a World Cup Final"...

Fifita carries the ball like a purse and drops a couple every game he plays, it was clearly a loose carry and at any other moment in the game no one would even question it. Moreover, had it happened at any other time, and he referred it to the video, he would be lambasted for failing to make an...

Roy Masters' massive slapdown of Wayne Bennett

Stupid argument, coaches are employees, they are hired by national bodies to coach players representing their nations. Players shouldn't be allowed to pick & choose which country they feel like playing for at the drop of a hat, it's not club football.

Most Australian fans cheer for their opponents, that promotes apathy.

They should have sold the lower bowl first, it's stupid that the upper tiers at the ends are near full but the lower tier behind pots is empty.

With the final at the same venue a week later. I know which game I would rather go to.

Everyone knows Australia will flog Fiji, the kangaroos aren't a draw because they are too dominant, had it been against NZ it would have been a better crowd.

They have upper tiers near full at one end but lower bowl behind posts empty, very strange.

I wouldn't worry about it, Foley has about as much charisma as a pot plant.

Clover is complaining because the new Moore Park stadium, with the same capacity & built in the exact same place as the current stadium, may be 'bulkier' and it's 'shadow' will damage the green space. Heard it all now!

Only Sydney FC wanted SFS to be the priority, the FFA wanted ANZ.
