    R27 Knights game.

Has there ever been a round 27 in the history of the NRL???

    R27 Knights game.

So as well as the news that Ponga is out, just read on Fox Sports that Newcastle have won only one of their last 8 against the Dragons away from Newcastle, and have not beaten the Dragons at Kogarah since 2009. Gives us some hope on Saturday night.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Last lower grade game and KOE Cup game for the Dragons today. 5 minutes into the second half, Warriors 26 Dragons 6. At least neither the KOE Cup team or Jersey Flegg team will run last this year.

So the only good news to come out of the loss tonight is the 12 points losing margin leaves us 45 points better off in our overall differential compared to the Tigers. Please please please Roosters win by a very big score tomorrow.

    Round 26 v Warriors

Big test for young Finau if he does debut tonight. Marking DWZ would be a first up tough test, especially against a team who are on a roll and playing at home. Saw him play against Wests at Lidcombe Oval in a KOE Cup game a little while back, and while still a bit raw, showed enough to suggest...

By around 7.30pm on Saturday night the battle for the spoon will be a lot clearer. Wests struggled to beat a badly depleted Dolphins side, so with the Roosters still a chance to make the 8 and mindful of their for and against, I am expecting them to win well on Saturday night. Of course, a...

    Round 26 v Warriors

So Peter Gough is the man in the middle again for this game. As a rule, we seem to play okay when he referees our games. The bad news is, Adam Gee ( I can't the Dragons), is in the bunker. So do not expect many decisions referred upstairs on Friday night to go our way.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

FT JF Manly 48 d Dragons 6. Last round of football today for the Dragons boys, we have a bye next weekend.

Manly 40 giving the Dragons 0 a bath in the JF today. A bit over 10 minutes left to play.

I agree that more than likely Wests will get a win against the Dolphins on Saturday. Highly unlikely they will beat the Roosters in round 26 who have finally found a bit of form. The final round 6pm Friday night game v Manly at Brookvale will be extremely difficult for them to have any...

Just been reading the team tips for this round on the Fox Sports website. Looks like the Dolphins will be missing a few for their game against the Tigers. Have a feeling the Tigers will win this one and jump 2 points behind us. Then read the team tips for Dragons v Storm. Ryan P a strong chance...

I also think the Tigers are a big chance of beating the Dolphins next weekend, especially with the game being played at CommBank Stadium, Parramatta. But the Tigers last two games will not be easy. The following weekend they play the Roosters away. Their record against the Roosters is very...

    Round 24 vs Souths

I am with you DD. Lost again, but not much damage done to the points differential. Scary though, the next 2 games are against the Storm and the Warriors. That has me very nervous. Hoping the Warriors put a big score on Wests tonight.

Ben Rumble a try on debut after 10 minutes. Hewi, will be interested to hear how he and a few of the young forwards perform today.

KOE (ex Canterbury Cup) and Jersey Flegg

Half time in the Jersey Flegg game being played at Redfern Oval today: Rabbits 26 Dragons 0. Our lower grade teams have fallen off a cliff the past few weeks.

    The Rumours Thread

Like a few others here, I think both players were long odds to ever leave the GC. I think we are a much better chance of picking up a player or two from Manly in the coming weeks/months, or from Flanagan's other old stomping ground, the Sharks. The UK Super League would also have players...

    Coach Flanno

The best thing about Flanagan being the assistant coach at Manly is the relationships he would have built with the playing group, right through the grades. If there is anything to this story that Haumolo Olakau'atu could be squeezed out due to salary cap pressure, Flanagan would be across it...

    Judiciary

So only Lawrie and R Couchman charged following yesterday's game. Both will only need to pay a fine and are free to play this weekend.

    Judiciary

Is Lomax a clean skin, i.e does he have any priors in the past 12 months?? I have not seen the incident. So it was a head slam??
