    WC Train on-squad

Yes I did. I sat and watched it with my son as we always do and I didn't want this bloke to ruin a tradition for me. The only other game I watched him play all year was against the warriors. Because I never miss the warriors. I didn't enjoy the coverage and the ridiculous hype. It was SBW 26...

    WC Train on-squad

SBW will not be there. He does not respect or value the Kiwi jumper. He has never won in a Kiwi jumper. Ever. He has been asked if he is available. He hasn't given Kearney an answer. NEXT. Last night, he dropped the ball at least twice, maybe 3 times. One of the dropped balls lead to a try...

    Elliott cleaning house

This is where you and I disagree. I'd give up 20, under 20 permierships for just one 1st Grade title. The warriors are heading towards their 20th year in the comp, without a title. And obviously Elliot as the head coach of the Warriors, told Ackland his job wasn't to win under 20's comps...

Dally Ms - congrats to our winners

Not everyone agrees with that statement, obviously including the Dally M judges. IMO, Good player, yes. Great player, no. He was certainly not the best in 2007 and played a bit of centre. Anyway, he will be the greatest ever All Black to have played the game, next year.

    Elliott cleaning house

When you have the biggest and fastest kids in the neighbourhood, you could coach them to a victory. Just tell them which way to run. Ackland was good at identifying talent, putting them on the field and running over the top of opposition teams. He is not good at producing 1st graders. Time...

    Coverage of World Cup

Well thats good. Now if they could give it some promo, that would be even better!

    Coverage of World Cup

Does anyone know who has the rights to the world cup? Is it the Maori Channel or something. I just saw the Sky ad for Oct and no mention of the world cup. None, nought, nothing. I know it kicks off at the end of Oct 26th of something. If it were the yawion world cup they'd be all over it.

    Whats your expectations for Tompkins

I'd watched him play a bit in Superleague at 5/8. The commentators were going on about how great he was. Then I watched him play for England v Kiwis at the Stadium in Wellington. He was mud at 5/8. I was watching from end on so could see how the players were..or weren't running off him...

    Whats your expectations for Tompkins

And that was playing inside Nielson who NEVER passed Manu the ball EVER. I know we all bag Wroppo, but one thing he does do, is 'feed the beast.' Tompkins, I reckon he will go good. NRL is a different level than Superleague, so season one, might be harder, but he is fast Tompkins, can spot...

Kiwi squad for the WC defence!

It appears Marshall didn't declare HIMSELF unavailable. His new employers (the NZRU) declared him unavailable. I've heard about 3-4 different stories, he wasn't picked, he was unavailable, he declared himself unavailable. It was ridiculous. But I did hear an "official statement" from Auckland...

    Auckland Vulcans

Are any Vulcans Semi's televised? Thats a pretty good side.

Kiwi squad for the WC defence!

Don't bank on SBW playing people. Highly unlikely. If he was intending to do so, he would have said so. He ain't. Why would he not come out and say, yes, I'm playing and available, unless he intends not to?

    National Provincial Competition

I think this comp is effectively funded by the NZRL. Its funded by the Anzac Test and television rights of those tests. As is the 15s and 17s comp. As the world cup is on, NZRL has cut back the 15's this year as there isn't the end of season tests to fund the comp. My point was it seems a few...

    National Provincial Competition

I'd be interested in whether many people are watching the NPC on Sky on Monday nights. Good time slot at 7.30. Kids can watch it. Even my missus and daughter watched on Monday. Wellington have been in the first two televised matches and the second match v Auckland was an excellent game of...

    NRL 9s

Not real excited about this, as I never like the shorter forms of the real games. I find 7's rugby actually quite boring, the same as 20/20 cricket. Just dumbed down versions of the main game. There is plenty of real league to watch during a season, so I don't need to watch 9's and probably...

    SBW and the World Cup

And principles and integrity. We couldn't possibly have people following Kiwi League with that could you. So, I'd be better off with another team.

    SBW and the World Cup

Disagree with me on what? Is he a good player? Well I agree with that. Is he the greatest player in the NRL at the moment. If you think yes, well then we do disagree. Is he a rapist and dirtbag. Never said that. No disagreement. Is he selfish? You can't argue that he isn't, surely. The...

    SBW and the World Cup

I still read the stats. JWH runs more metres and makes more tackles in less minutes than Money Bill. Easts also loose more games when JWH is not playing. Simple maths. And JWH has something that Money Bill doesn't. More committment and loyalty. I've never said for one minute the bloke...
