    Its pretty simple. 7's is a festival game, played as a "filler". Its an abbreviated version of the real sport. 15 man a side RU is the sport. The olympics is the best of the best....except soccer. under 23s. Why bother, so I suppose there's a precedent, but at least they play the full version...

    Look I had huge concerns about them putting up golf as an olympic sport, but sevens rugby! Thats like making mini putt the golf version that becomes an olympic sport. This just belittles the olympics and gives sevens a status that it truely does not deserve.
