    I was thinking of a similar scenario. Down by 2 and get a penalty right in front to send it to extra time. Because, of course, they could always score a try in extra time! What a disaster that would be. I'm not even sure what I would prefer - I guess you have to back yourself and go for it...

    Looking like we will probably play the Storm next week if we win then. Should have an optimistic / silly look if there are any cheap airfares... Tell you what, we massively have the wood over them in finals games, could be interesting if that eventuates.

    Plenty of moments to think back on and regret in a season this close. But the one regret we will all remember is if we don't turn up tomorrow. At the end of the day, we have done enough to leave it in our own hands. Just have to get the job done tomorrow.

    I'll be there, in the Warriors supports bay in the corner. Gotta try and get there early for the juniors as well. Pretty excited for this, biggest game we have had in the last 3 years. Hope its a good contest at least.

    Amazing that the Eels dropped both of their last 2 games, quite possibly only needing to win one of them to sneak in. Really quite amazing. Good news for Warriors fans though, appreciate the 2 point head start that gave us :).

    Raiders win, despite a late scare. Puts us in an interesting position now. Kind of kicking ourselves for not going on with it with the Titans, eh? I'm sure we could manage to lose by less than 20 points, say. Still, 2 points better than nothing!

    Should be a good game. I'd appreciate if you mob don't run 60 up on us this time, was a very long and sad night in the cold with an equally sad ride home. If the Raiders can win tomorrow then you are welcome to a 2 point win - then everyone can be happy!

    The slightest bit of breathing room potentially - but yes, it would rely on the Eels absolutely bombing it and losing again. Knowing they will only need one other result to go their way, SURELY they will turn up against the lowly Raiders. Still, it means we can cheer for the Raiders tomorrow...

    Was happy when I saw this earlier...finally! Can't believe how thick so many of these "experts" are at something fairly simple! Anyway, big advantage if the Broncos get destroyed tonight - we will all be watching the Raiders game closely if that happens. 30+ loss would be great :).

    Will always remember THAT try in 2008. Pretty solid player for us, and a handy goal kicker. Shame he has ended up retiring fairly young at 30, a few injuries and a bit of bad luck for him.

    The times on NRL.com are the kick off times, usually about 5 minutes later. Channel 9 games can be pushed out a little. Likely the buildup will start 8pm kiwi time and kick off at 8.35pm. Pretty big game for the juniors in this one as well, will have to get there early for that one as well...

    Just using highest points for makes more sense to me (not just because it would benefit us). Or even lowest points against. Using percentages is silly. Honestly though, should probably just have a playoff game if two teams are tied on points and differential.

    Pretty sure it's 8.30? Local time kickoff is 6.30pm. Seeing as they play 7.30pm games here sometimes (and later), it really shouldn't be a problem or excuse of any sort. More a hassle for the fans having to get up early for work the next day, eh? ;)
