    Shack denied release

I'm kind of on the fence about this one. He's doing well in NSW Cup and a few players that have impressed in that competition this season have stepped up and impressed; Paulo and Ryan the obvious mentions. Should he have been in reserve grade in the first place? I don't think so but any player...

Rumoured and Confirmed Signings and More Crap V

Who said the team was for 2014? If it was for 2014 I would've included Hopoate obviously.

Worst players so far this year

If he had decent ball to work with I'd agree with you. Most of the time we seem to go to either the right side or we cut him-out with a long spiral ball. Not saying he hasn't been poor though, he should be doing better than he is. But that can be said about the whole team really. Sandow has...

Who will be the Parra Scapegoat this week?

I disagree with the Boyd comment, but aside from that you are pretty much spot on in capturing the current feelings of Eels fans. My NSW back-line for Game I given Dugan's lack of sufficient recent game-time would be; 1. Stewart 2. Uate 3. Jennings 4. Lawrence 5. Hayne 6. Carney 7. Pearce...

Who will be the Parra Scapegoat this week?

I said as much as you are implying; he was poor yesterday, as was the whole team for 65 minutes. He's still been a mile ahead of every other player for us bar Hayne, and even Hayne hasn't been as good as Roberts so far - less game time obviously contributes to that opinion.

Tottenham Hotspur: "To Dare Is To Do" II

Kyle's fast becoming a running highlight reel :p Hard to name many right backs ahead of him in the EPL at the moment.

Who will be the Parra Scapegoat this week?

Roberts has been our best player this season no doubt. Opposition fans predictably look only at mistakes and the Tigers game but he's been a standout. Does it say much? We are dead last so probably not. Denying it though is laughable.

Who will be the Parra Scapegoat this week?

Yeah, and in a losing side, he came up with ridiculously good stats for any fullback only a few weeks ago. Sorry you can't see what's obvious to most that he steps up at Origin level and always performs. That and if he's on, he is quite easily one of our most dangerous players. You are the...

Who will be the Parra Scapegoat this week?

So according to you, terrible form is the way to describe being played out of position for one game and his entire team playing horribly for the majority of a game. Most on this forum were singing his praises and demanding his selection in the NSW backline after the Sharks game. But no, Hayne's...

#Chris Sandow has been dropped by the Parramatta Eels

I have a very bad inkling that this decision will backfire horribly. People saying Sandow is being blamed solely should remember that Lasalo and aroma have also been dropped. Still......good on Kearney for making a big call, but I think it's the wrong one as far as Sandow goes.

I'd be happy with Lussick. Why? At this rate, I'd be amazed if we attracted anyone of real quality to the club unless we turn our fortunes around swiftly.

    UEFA Champions League 2011/12

It takes guts to admit to any mistake, good on you mate. Not too fussed about Real losing, we were never going to take both La Liga and the UCL in the same season. Still, hopefully Mourinho stays and this is the beginning of the return to the better years.

    UEFA Champions League 2011/12

Dunniesman logic: Chelsea beating the best team in the world sees them still as the fifth best EPL team. Bayern beating the second best team in the world sees them as the best BL team despite not winning their league. If Chelsea beat Bayern, it proves the EPL is superior ...

    UEFA Champions League 2011/12

Congratulations Chelsea. Saying they didn't deserve to win because they played "anti-football" and scored 3 goals to 2 against the best team in the world is a very big stretch. They adopted the right tactics to beat Barcelona, they deserve credit for that. I think Chelsea will need a miracle...

    The greatest team of ALL-TIME

They still are one of the best teams ever seen, but like in any sport dominance doesn't last. I'd still say they are the best team in the world right now, and that opinion would only change if Madrid win the UCL this season, which is a tough ask with Bayern and potebtially Chelsea still to play.

    Few Changes that Might Help

I agree with Burt coming back but at the expense of who? Hayne needs to stay where he is I think, we won more games last year with him at fullback than we did at five eighth and in recent weeks is looking devastating whilst unfit due to the playmakers. Roberts to centre....no. I wouldn't want...

    #Ben Roberts

Dear lord, why do I bother? Funnily enough, I'm far from the only one that makes asinine comments about others, but you seem to ignore them mostly. I think the link was both justified and appropriate - you have previously given Roberts harsh criticism and he has arguably been our best player...
