"Great Britain lacked preperation"/// HA HA HA HA

Ask anyone in professional sports and they'll tell you that the money is in TV... if the ESL were to compensate the clubs for the loss of a couple home games (the ones that needed it, alot of them are rich enough to cop that) and then Have GB train togeather as a squad for a couple weeks, then...

YOUR NZ or Aus top and NZ/AUS A teams.

Nice team!! I wish I could see that in action in the TS!!

    The Kiwis future

Definately! Better and more enthralling than this years Bledisloe cup in my opinion! Tonights game was the best of the lot!

    Interest in game two

Absolutely. I totally agree, New Zealand played with great skill and passion, they truly deserved their win. But by the same token ALOT of sitter passes were dropped and gerally some bad decisions made by the Aussies... true alot of it was because of pressure, but then alot wasn't, these guys...

    Tri-Nations Test - TV Ratings

Don't be so sure... I went to the Springboks test in sydney this year and it only managed 60,000! While that doesn't sound bad, believe me, for the self conscious elbow patch brigade at the ARU IT IS! The wallabies were playing a TOP international team and also a feirce and hated rival!! The...

    Tri-Nations Test - TV Ratings

Absolutely! But with the test season begining when the players are all sore and sorry it's not been very easy... I think the only option is a real shortening of the club comp... but internationals would have to justify it first.

    Tri-Nations Test - TV Ratings

Disapointing isn't it... people just can't be bothered going if it's on TV it seems. I went and got a 20 buck ticket and we all had a ball! It's really a shame in my opinion, 80,000 at a roos match in Sydney would look fantastic! The ARL should probably put more money into helping develope the...

    Brian McClennan - SHUT UP!!!

 Dam that was Funny! Those 2 pommy git commentators in the final last year spent the whole of the pre-match talking about how England were gonna win! When it got to half time they were pissed! hahahahahahahah

Should the Kangaroos Jersey be updated?

See^ Excessive use of bad language and a generally irritated tone equals outraged. You were making that stuff up because you wanted to push your point, and YOU know it. You're the only one that got this pissed, and that is obviously because your just as arrogant and bigotted as you're claiming...

    Interest in game two

Oh good! A positive out of Australia's circus of errors...

    What is Australia missing ?

DESIRE! They played this game like a pack of holiday makers and had no intensity whatsoever! Whereas for the kiwi's this was bigger than SOO!

Should the Kangaroos Jersey be updated?

^ THAT is exactly why I'm not advocating a major change! It's also the reason that I keep coming back to the way the SOO jersey's have changed.

Barrett ahead of Thurston = Garbage

Yeah I know what you mean! Like at Origin time! People kept on going on about how well he played and how he had a hand in every try! Who cares? If he is going to be recognised he should make every single tackle and score every try himself.

Should the Kangaroos Jersey be updated?

You don't need to make stuff up to justify yourself. I don't really have a problem with people if they preferred it to stay the same... it's just that you were the most aggressive and outraged about the prospect of change, so I sorta felt the need to justify my position... but you just kept...

Should the Kangaroos Jersey be updated?

??? Where'd you get that from? The Australia Cricket team was the first to adopt green and gold back in the 1890's! About 25 years before the kangaroo's. And as I said earlier, it may not change AGAIN, but the current kangaroo's jersey is in fact the 4th incarnation of it... first it was just...

Should the Kangaroos Jersey be updated?

You're really not getting this whole "minor tweak" thing are you... Have you seen the new GB kit? It's pretty much the same as the traditional one, only it looks more professional.

    Crowd size

Whats the PAX now? anyone know?
  20. strong_latte

    Crowd size

SFS has a max capicity of around 43,000 , so I'd say that wouldn't be right... But seriously, the ARL said they were hopeful of a 25k crowd! So they obviously didn't have high hopes... The SFS would have been way better, but the super series is on and it's more expensive to rent apparently...
