    Warriors press conference today 24/11

Just reconfirmed and paid for season tickets again last week and then this crap! Eden Park is much closer to my house but Mt Smart is where I go to see the Warriors play. This is a stupid move. I bet the seats will not be as good as at Mt Smart and we will have to park miles away. I wonder if...

    Manu Re-signed Until 2014

So the Warriors were trying hard and not just waiting around like so many on here assumed. Well done Warriors management and good on ya Manu for keeping the faith. Roll on Friday night at Mt Smart.

Round 23 v Warriors at Mt Smart Sunday Afternoon

From where I was sitting, the first try was off a forward pass and overall I think there was a bit of each way from the refs (case in point - penalty for high tackle against warriors when the Knights player fell into the tackler and the tackler wrapped his arms around his back - no contact at...

So, who has stepped up ?

Same for me. I thought Matulino seemed a bit lazy last year but he stepped up big time this year. Good on him. Played well yesterday. :D

    Kevin Locke

While I think Issac John is going to be a great asset to the club in the future, I think the Seymour / Maloney combo will get us into and, hopefully, through the finals. BTW - Thanks Meth. This is one of the funniest threads in a while.:D

    Decision 2011

So league players can't do anything past 32? What about 'normal' people who get injured at work and have to retrain? Lots of people go through job changes and get on with life. This is the most overused excuse in the game. I hope the Warriors give him a fair deal but one player can not win the...

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

There are some very, very bitter people on this forum the likes of which I had not come across before. How do you take a loss? Beat the missus? Get pissed?

If ya ever do, PM us and I'll even buy ya a beer. See you at Mt Smart :)

Are we actually a chance here?

I have believed that Souths have been on the verge of some real success for the past 4 or so seasons. A lot of the games they lost were by a small margin and the only thing that was really misssing was some belief in themselves. St George were the other team that was nearly there until last year.

    Manu or Blair

I think we should be saving our money so we can concentrate on keeping players we already have - Manu Vatuvai for one.

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

Re: the MC - I am over Nic Brown and that other silly chick with the high pitched annoying voice... I also think that as a result of the Warriors being the first team that played Melbourne after the whole thing came out and the result of that game, intensified the feeling on the night...

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

Neither of the posts you replied to in the above had any derogitory remarks against anyone but your first point of call is to go to the gutter.

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

If this whole situation was about face, ie Warriors miles above the salary cap and Melbourne under, there would be just as many dickheads turning up to Melbourne home games and dishing out exactly the same crap. It is human nature for a few to be idiots. They exist everywhere, not just in Auckland.

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

You are right in what you say about bad behaviour not being required. However, in the past 4 seasons I have missed just 6 games (damn work) and I have never seen any behaviour like that in the upper west stand, where we are surrounded by fellow season ticket holders who are there every game as...

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

Hi MsStorm. We are not so far away. We are both proud supporters of our chosen teams. The sitution is not of your doing and it is great to see Storm fans still supporting their team.

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

I was not being a prick as you point out. I merely took exception, as a season ticket holding Warriors fan, to being lumped in with any fans who acted like idiots. The rest of my post was not at all inflamatory.

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

Did you not read the bit about how we went and shook hands with some of the Storm fans sitting behind us? Or, are you just so bent out of shape you think everyone hates anything to do with the Storm? Go order some valium. We did not give any fans a hard time but only the team - which is...

Boys did well tonight despite the loss.

I didn't see anything untoward happen while leaving the game. In fact, I saw more than a few Warriors supporters shaking Melbourne fan's hands (myself and a couple of mates included). There will always be a few dickheads who will pay out on fans but this is not limited to Storm fans. It...

    Change of venues

Asa season ticket holder there is no way I can support the warriors playing home games away from Mt Smart and that includes Eden Park. If they ever go to Eden Park I will let my tickets lapse.
