    Joel Moon

Ridge got 1 week after they successfully had a grade 2 charge reduced to grade 1 on the grounds it was unintentional. Wes should have had 1 week at least cause i didnt think he missed either. And if it wasnt so hard to prove beyond doubt, they should introduce diving charges (against the...

    Hohaia needing some competition?

Hmm, well I dont know who I am thinking of then. The brothers I'm thinking of were huge guys, scary looking and played prop/2nd row? And they were running around about the same time as when Gary Freeman was still in the Auckland league.

    Hohaia needing some competition?

I may have my names mixed up, but werent there a couple of huge guys that used to run around in the 80s in the Auckland league by the name of Fisiahi?

    3-2-1 v Knights

This seems to be the hardest thing for wingers to master. Having the confidence in the player next to you that they will do their job. Some of them will never master it, Eric Grothe for example.

    Hohaia needing some competition?

Or does he just need the Bye round to re energise? From watching the last 3 or 4 games, he seems to be less energetic around the field. Is that a sign of relaxing too much now that Mckinnon is gone? He didnt seem to have much faith in our props breaking the line as never sighted him...

Is Issac John a better halfback ?

QFT not the first time this season he's taken a dive to milk a penalty either. The Knights forum on this website dont think too highly of the guy and thats putting it mildly.

    Joel Moon

No thanks. Moon doesnt do this enough. Brisbane game was the last time he showed any reason to pick him.

    3-2-1 v Knights

Packer 3 15 hitups and 31 tackles following his workload from last week was good to see. Getting some consistency now that we need from a starting prop Latimore 2 Backed up Packer well, supplied a great offload in the first half that lead to a try and scored his first ever try himself...

SBW on Footy Show this week

Hasnt he been playing with Tana Umaga at Toulon?

Jason Robinson is he/is he not

please tell me you're joking. Regarding the current crop of referees, none of them are any good. Yes, that includes Archer. We should have seen this coming though,as most of these guys were the young referees running around when Harrigan and Clark were still going, and they were diabolical...

    SOO and the judiciary

Same for Matthew Ridge. Remember when he touched Paul Simpkins during a game against Balmain? Never mind the fact that Simpkins was having an absolute howler of a game which ultimately cost the Warriors the win...

    Steve Price

wasnt he doing a management course or something? Couldnt see him ending up in the commentary box like so many other players. Voice is way too gravelly.

    Royal

Steve Rapira started in the U20s as a prop. Just needs to bulk up in the offseason a bit and we have the Rapira Brothers as our 2 starting props.

    Potential niche market

Play the Ball Coach. Seriously, some of the guys running around in the NRL have real clumsy ways of playing the ball. A lot switch hands as they are getting up, others put the ball on the ground before standing leaving themselves open to referees goodwill. You can hear the referees yelling...

    The team v Knights

Hard to say. More often than not, they get the U20 guys in for their first game of the year when its a home game dont they? Gives them a bit more confidence with the crowd behind them, especially if they make an error or 2.

    Latimore

I dont think Tai'a has the legs for 80mins. Hes a big bopper. Good to see Packer doing a lot of minutes though. He is really coming along now.

    Tate's replacement

I wonder if Cleary has plans for Inu to play at fullback next year. After all, he did represent the Kiwis at FB on his debut, after a handful of NRL games.
