    Two weeks ago in the Daily Telegraph there was a mention of Manly possibly looking for a cheap alternative for the wingers that we lost or injured by looking at Mantellato (Knights winger NSW cup) and leading points scorer for the Knights to fill the gap.     I agree very ordinary. Michael Mate the normal winger was there and was in the team warm up but I don't know why he didn't start. Very disappointing game. There was also some strange interchanges on Sunday as well, Sam Anderson stayed on the bench for a long time before he got his second spell.

    If Gids gets injured again who is the goal kicker? Roberts? I'll take Mantellato any day over anyone in this department and he can score tries as well. He has missed 3 from his last 54 goals. Great under the high ball and can out leap anyone.

    Lost to the bears 25-24 after leading 24-4 at halftime. It was a disgraceful second half. One out all the time we never move the ball from one side to another.     LikiLiki plays on the opposite side to Mantellato. Mantellato has scored tries with passes from Briggs, Davis, Sau, O'Donnell and from 2 kicks. The only downfall with Liki is his defense but he is a powerful ball runner. Hope the knights do sign him up for 2-3 years.
