OT - Peachey stars for Souths

    Didn't think you would.

OT - Peachey stars for Souths

Nah that honour goes to Michael Sullivan, not only is he the worst half-back at the club (Warrington), he's not even the best impact hooker. No kicking game, passing game, or running one for that matter. It's not going well for him here. I gave him a chance, he's shown nothing and i find it...

Training sqaud announced for June test

Not too sure about that this season, quite a few have legged it passed him. He's been covered well by his wingers Gardner/Meli/Hardman

    rlfans - banned

They block your ip address. Out of interest what did they ban you for? I know a fair few of the mods/site admins. What username did you have?

    James Graham for GB!

I've been pretty impressed with Graham from what i've seen this season. If we're talking potential GB forwards i'd be looking at Paul Wood who has been immense this year for Warrington. A bloke who punches far above his weight, held his own against the Saints pack, and kept Stuart Fielden...

    Mal Alker

Alker should have been playing as GB's 9 years ago. The fact he plays for Salford has worked against him, and his loyalty to Salford come to think of it. If he'd have been playing for one of the bigger clubs he'd have been a GB regular.

    Mal Alker

I really rate Alker, great defence, clever around dummy half and hard to put down. With all due respect to Salford, if Alker wants a final challenge and the Dragons offer is for real he needs to go and play in the NRL.

Get your pen and paper out and.......

You're in a minority with your own fans though. Most Saints fans i've spoken too think it's too much of an ask to go unbeaten. I think they could do it if they keep the key players fit (Long, Cunningham, Pryce, Lyon etc), but it would still be a big ask. Saints have started very well, but so...

    Awful Challenge Cup gates

I was embarrassed by the attendence at the HJ yesterday, and felt it was a kick in the teeth for the London Skolars who could have made a fair bit of money out of it. Warrington didn't really alter the admission fee. but for 6500 regular fans not to bother turning up is pretty poor, given how...

    Sullivan gone from Wire?

Sully had a corker playing out of dummy half when he came on, upped our tempo and had a hand in three of our four tries (two assists) through attacking the line out of dummy half. His defence has improved alot with a couple of quality hits too I had a quick chat with him last night in...

    Sullivan gone from Wire?

Sullivan was our best player against Les Cats on saturday, livened us up no end round the ruck and if it wasn't for a dubious decision by the ref would have created the game winning score. I think the jury is still out on whether he's a hooker or half-back. His defence looks a little better...

    Catalans win first away match

For the neutral maybe, but as a WARRINGTON fan i'm having a go at my teams awful performance, Catalans were ordinary, they just about got the basics right (which Warrington consistantly failed to do). I would have had the same opinion on the performance if Steve Ganson hadn't have got that...

    Catalans win first away match

I feel i need to respond to the poster who mentioned me. I call it as i see it, i was at the game and Warrington were beyond awful. If Catalans had been anything more than ordinary i would have said so, but apart from one score they didn't have to work for their points. We gifted them field...

    Catalans win first away match

Not wanting to dampen the joy here, Catalans are awful. The problem from my point of view is that Warrington were worse then that last night. Few Warrington players come away with any credit from last night, those being Paul Wood, Michael Sullivan and Ben Westwood. All the others were...

    Hock back for Wigan

Out for another 6 weeks. He's a decent player, but having so many injury problems at a young age doesn't normally bode well for an RL player

Round 1 v Bulldogs (previews, spoilers, post match discussion...)

Finally managed to get time to watch the game in nrl.com (gotta love that website). Pretty good performance from my uneducated Panther eyes, great offload from Preston for Gower's try. Stand out performance other than the halves has got to go to Clinton for sheer workrate. I should be able to...

    Halfback term ?

A few teams over here will have either the 'halves' feeding the scrum dependent on what side of the pitch it is. This is due to some teams (warrington included) playing a system where each 'half' will control one side of the pitch each. It's not a system i really like as i think teams are...

    brent grose

Take this with a pinch of salt guys. The real story is some hack journo on a local radio show heard a rumour that someone had left, possibly a player who had been with the club a short time, which would rule Grose out. If their is any substance to the rumour, that could include Michael...

    Warrington re-inforce title credentials?

and who though Bradford would win the title last year after 5 games... Too early to tell, my money would bo on Saints so far as they seem to be able to grind out results in the tough games. Friday night's game could be interesting (Saints v Bradford). As for Warrington, if we hit form for a...

    Sullivan the worst ever import?

I think Sully is suffering a real confidence crisis, and being thrown in at 7 when he's not played there for a while, coupled with the expectation of our (warrington) fans hasn't helped. I'll judge him when he's had a proper run of games and got up to speed. I think friday's game saw him...
