    Exactly. Shifting codes and shifting to the Warriors would be a career killer. A bunch of the players listed, if they don't make higher honours, will head to Europe and earn a killing. The bigger question is: why would Warriors players want to stay at the club?

    You said earlier that league has given more back to nz breweries based on the sponsorship arrangements. If you did say that, then it's reasonable to say nz league did not have the business acumen to negotiate the best deal possible.

    The increased negative association with alcohol and sports is turning the breweries off the idea of supporting sports teams. Next in line? Wellington 7's will be hit with a major sponsor pulling back or pulling out altogether.

    I was listening to an interview with Scurrah over the weekend and the issue of the number of jerseys was brought up. Why do the Warriors have so many! Answer: they have as many as every other team. And they sell more jerseys than every other team.
