Tim Smith picked up where he left off, I don't know how he stays in the top grade. I'm just thankful it's not at my club. Although having Feleti Mateo may lesson that pain a bit, awesome game by him again.

:?

Tim played quite well, he eased himself back into it and let Mateo and Finch run the show....he set up a try for Grothe and made some good kicks...

Same i wasnt impressed at all how the Knights played thought they would have come out more prepared against the old coach and having won 2 on the trot, ah well the better side lost must mean the eels can play sh*t load better and the Knights have no chance...

are you kidding yourself?
Tim smith had an absolute SHOCKER!

What'd he do wrong? He had an absolute shocker off the kick off, but other than that he made two errors. Both were off shocking passes. He didn't set the world on fire but he had a solid return I thought

Both were up and down....both had some great things and some poor things. It was a pretty even match

I don't think that's true either ;-) Newie have Cross and Sargent to come back up front, that's probably their starting front row and Cross especially will make a huge difference. They have MacDougall out, who is old and on the way out sure, but provides an old head in tight games like that. And they have Simpson to come back, who is a settling influence and another experience head that would have helped them tonight. They have a lot of improvement in them IMO

What in the hell makes you say that?

I like to stir other members on this forum...

Bedsy was your best player tonight and if the knights can stop alot of silly errors/penalties after putting the opposition on the back foot, they should win alot more games this season.....

the knights fans are getting way ahead of themselves here
they played like sh*te against canberra, didnt see much of last weeks game but again tonight they dropped far too much footy, good sides playing good footy will put the knights away easily the way they are playing atm

Fair enough

Yeh, I like our style of play, we have a LOT of improvement in us...

Eventually those kicks for Vuna will come off, Errors will be less frequent, Players learn how to play with each other.

And to add we have a couple of big players to come back.

I like where were heading, im just hoping this loss doesnt get us bummed down and then go and get belted by the Warriors.

Oh, and congrats on the win, while it's dissapointing to lose it's hopefully good for Hindmarsh to take something good out of the week.

Manly were the better team vs. Newcastle (thats not saying much as both teams played sh*te), but hell give me the 2 points any day of the week ahead of a "good performance"

Newcastle looked the more improved outfit today... Parramatta are still stumbling but the important thing for them today was to grab the two. A quality game of football... probably ruined by the referee in some respects but the calls did even out. The video ref dead set needs to get on with things - looking at extremely conclusive replays 4-5 times is ludicrous and wastes time.

How about about Mullo's field goal? Skims the inside of the post!
