Lots of people come here due to all the work the mining industry creates, doesn't make them all fifo. Fifo workers are a very small number compared to all the people who work in industries that support the mining sector. Migration from NZ and east coast remains strong and is picking up again after covid. With WA having the most wealth and income per household it isnt surprising.
