What the fk has this got to do with the price of fish?
Why be a show off using useless roy morgan data, everyone knows their data isn't sound
Merely replying to stupid with stupid lol
to suggest because Penrith has had fleeting success in the last 25 years that it somehow relateds to having png or nz2 as club 18 is dumb, nearly as dumb as Roy Morgan data methodology!

I never suggested it, this article wb posted may have, but you posting data from morgan shows massive jealousy vibes, along with the notion of perf not being no.18 as favourites, good win today btw..
Nothing better than seeing king gutho have a stinker

Minor premierships Storm 5 panthers 3
Top 4 finishes Storm 14 panthers 7
GF’s Storm 7 Panthers 4
Premierships Storm 3 Panthers 3

Panthers are best team now, consistently over last 20 years? Storm every day.

nrl needs another capital city ‘proper’ expansion club clearly.
Yeah im thinking they are using different metrics, like run metres, win percentages, trys accumulated etc, not the bold stats of GFs played win etc, coz Realistically parra made heaps of GFs but they were terrible in that same timeframe, doesn't mean they were a success..
And minor premierships no one cares about, unless you're a soccer fan, then they mean the world...

I do however agree storm are the most successful side in the NRL era, although roosters and now panthers are also up there too... (as for GFs storm are on 4 in the NRL era.... we can't count breach years, which says a lot about why they were so successful, the lesson being "you cant keep them all")

NRL dont need perfh, they need more players or another area that can produce more players like Qld do, like western sydney does, like new Zealand can, then you can start plonking teams in perfh, adelaide and geelong if you wanted to

Here’s at stat for you, the last time perth had a top tier RL club there was 50% the number of registered players the entire country of nz has now! If you want to get more people playing the game you know perth makes sense.

System is such in Perth that getting ppl to play is near impossible. Perth team won't have one local & everybody here knows that..

Wow two responses to that post

anyway penrith a team full of Penrith juniors and who stay within the salary cap and still are successful

And they win by Playing rugby league not cheating via wwf

You do realise that Penrith is a fairly unique circumstance. It is very rare that you see a club side as good as they have been and a new side (wherever they come from) isn’t very likely at all to just come in and be as good as they are.

And the pathway setup the club and gould had made works wonders, every year a very expensive player gets picked off their roster and panthers just replace them with a reserve grader, then turn them into a 1st grader... this is the way!

Ok, but you go and tell PVL that 25 years ago Perth did wonders fot the game, or did just as much as cronulla do right now in their little shire...
I already know Perfh will produce players, just not straight away, and they will pull from other clubs in their first 3 seasons till they are up and running, probably more, thats the reason arlc are telling WA bidders to link with a reserve grade team, coz your stocks/depth are very low in talent, we are not living 25 years ago... besides storm took all your good players, and they are nowhere near the club the reds once were in terms of participation numbers

Penrith wins this year and they have the same number of nrl titles as the storm

look at the dogs they have signed ciraldo and many panthers players and are still pants

it’s getting harder to buy your way to success

Dont be fooled by goulds spending spree, he did this in 2015 at the panthers, by 2018 the juniors coming thru started to take their spots, goulds buys were moved on to pave way for more juniors again... these quick buys are just roster fillers till they grow the grass beneath... its a process and it takes time, but when it comes good it will be an endless production line, good for the club and the game as a whole

Maybe but the juniors he’s got at dogs weren’t from the bulldogs area eg olopau

what he’s doing is the same as the storm did

None of that matters, in 3-5 years time, those players he has now, will be turned over atleast by 2 roster full, if you look at the panthers only Isaiah Yeo is the only guy whos been there since gould started there, everyone else has been punted/moved on

Has to keep buying juniors from outside to be sustainable vs a club that produces its own

don’t even know why doggies area doesn’t produce juniors it should
