3 new teams should be Perth / Third Brisbane Team and either a second NZ or Combined Pacifica team

20 Teams - 4 divisions of 5 teams - play each other once and teams in your division twice. 23 games and 230 games all up in a regular season

If 18 teams - 2 conferences of 9 teams - play each team once and teams in your conference twice - 25 games - 225 games all up in a regular season

Currently with 17 teams - 24 games and 204 games all up in a regular season.

It would be daft if they just kept adding teams under the current comp format instead of using the above options where all teams whether in a conference or division will play the same teams the same number of times which most want to see.

No easy and hard draw then

If teams are added to the comp under the current format it will increase the imbalance of the draw

18 teams - play each team once and 7 teams twice
20 teams - play each team once and 5 teams twice

Perth 2027
NZ2 2030
South Brisbane 2033

20 team comp. Play each other once plus magic round + 4 'rivalry' games. 25 game season. Top 9 play offs.

Division 4 sucks for travelling, especially if the Pacifica team in based in FNQ

It obvious Penrith has the biggest junior area
So 2nd Penrith team needs to be established
And the perfect fit for the Bear's 🐻
North Penrith Bear's .
Mountain Grizzly Bears
As Gus Gould mentioned the Bear's in expansion
And mentioned a 2nd Melbourne team
Maybe bring back Hunter Mariner's
2nd Newcastle team like we had before
Keep expansion on the east coast 😁

Thats very unequal in terms of both travel requirements and FTa tv games theyll cover. Way to screw the non NSw and qlnd clubs lol

If they decide to, and tbh I cant really see any advantages, two 10 team conferences with a mix of club locations in each would be fairer.

There can be only one,
and you're filing the role nicely. Keep trolling and diverting the discussion from expansion, its what village idiots do best.
Im sure you're fitting you own bill as a whinging, whining pom hack, pushing the shit uphill to state the perf case no one really cares for... i admittedly wanted perth as the next expansion, but its simply not going to happen, the way they carry on as if they deserve the next licence, just coz we"re a city

Btw im calling truce, getting sick of this back and forth name calling garbage... id rather talk about expansion, not hulls or village idiots

Agreed you'd think each of the furthest expansion areas would be separately allocated into each division, like so..

Pasifika
Cows
Dolphins
Bronx
Titans

Warriors
Nz2

Newcastle
Manly
Easts

Souths
Cronulla
Dragons
Raiders
Storm

Perth

Penrith
Parramatta
Canterbury
Wests

That way over the 2 year cycle of "play everyone once" gets reversed, the travel distance is shared around within the pools created, not just have warriors travel back and forth to perth, or Storm to Pasifika for example

They are flying and not travelling by Cobb and Co Coach
Ok but the point of pools or conferences, is to generate local derbys, and explain why they are playing each other moreso than anyone else, your flawed logic that, others already do it, so nothing changes, doesn't help them in the long run, the teams that don't travel more than 4-6 times a season (basically Sydney based teams)will end up better equipped to less travel and recruit better players as they wont want to go to a club that travel longer and further per season than a syd team that barely has to... its uneven already which i get, but why make it worse.

we had this same discussion years ago... put yourself in the shoes of the warriors or cowboys or even better ricky stuart

Jammer wants png and nz ahead of Perth

not all poms are ignorant of Australian rl

pipps was spot on about desire for another brisbane team

only conference system they will use is Sydney plus knights vs rest

home and away with some cross conference games

thats not what he said at all lol. He said NRl should go to 20 and include perth and those two. comprehension not a strong point? The big fella advocated for 18 clubs with Perth being the priority.
No mention of Brisbane 3 from either of them though lol.
