Focus!

This is what you replied to

“It’s not just fumbleball or relevant to just here in Australia.

It’s essentially most sports”

What like this

“@Colk boasting about having no afl fans as friends is weird & insular.”

By the way I didn’t boast. I just said that I don’t socialise day to day with people who follow fumbleball because I live in Newcastle. I am not asking it to weed them out, it is just a matter of the micro environment.

Where did I say you said ur comment was weird & insular?! That was my astute observation

Mate I don’t care if you want to throw barbs at me. I am a big boy and you’re a random on a forum who I’ll probably never meet. Fire away if you want to.

Just spare me the whole I don’t make personal attacks on anybody as a way to position yourself as an infallible arbiter. It’s pretty clear why you do it

Below is a definition of a personal attack. You clearly made one.

Personal attack may include challenges that question their intelligence, values, integrity, motivations, decisions and so on. Their historical successes may be challenged as may their social or professional position. Attacks may even be about sensitive topics such as nationality, sexuality or religion.

So when looking at expansion clubs the nrl should ignore

1. Junior depth
2. Value to tv networks
3. Club finances

the criteria that should come first is

1. Ability for rugby league fans with a chip on their shoulder to win internet arguments with afl fans who say rugby league is only played in two states

Or we could go for a club with:
long term viability
with a population reach of 2.2 million
that offers a perfect 9th spot tv time
that has a rich state govt backing it and millionaires owning it
that opens up a new market for the sport

just an idea!
But where are the pokies??!!! Where's pretty Leichhardt ?????

A-League will easily take over NRL in the next 10 years unless there is the relocation of at least two Sydney clubs and incorporation of all the states of Australia into the league.

SGI Dragons are literally dead if Wollongong gets an A-League team. Wests Tigers already know that MacArthur Bulls are going to overtake them soon.
