They definitely aren't looking to add teams there.The Pacific Islands have no financial means or value to support a team.

Yeah I read this a few months ago. I think it was originally on Pythagon RL (I think that was the name)

Whilst the overall tone could be slightly pessimistic I think he outlines quite soberly/logically the problems of all the bids/proposed bids.

Also well done on being more open minded than some. That article is pretty critical of the PNG/Pasifika bid, yet you haven’t just picked what you want out of it to be pretty critical of the whole thing.

A Perth-based team will need support from multiple businessmen, the WA Gov and the ARLC. The only businessman who has publicly embraced the bid is Peter Cumins.

The Brisbane Tigers have no brand. If they go with the Queensland Firehawks model then they deserve to be rejected.
