30k members are 30k members.

especially if everyone one else uses the same figures
The fumblers started fudging their figures years ago. We followed suit under Smith. They are now meaningless. In fact they are so meaningless they are really only used by circle jerk fumbler fans to ‘prove’ how big their game is in QLD and NSW. Having more ‘members’ than television viewers has to tell you something.

I take no notice of them to a degree. The clubs have a mailing list which is good to sell to potential sponsors

Whatever floats your boat.

In an expansion thread though, if 10k Cowboys fans sign up for a 1 game membership, then we aren't really getting a true picture of the demand for more clubs.

The club can then drill down, They have emails and phone numbers.

Using your Cowboys example. If only 20% of that 10k are in Townsville then likely they only got single games due to the schedule.

That then gives them information to try and get better suiting games when the draw is done.

Internally maybe they have fan days in those areas.

Dolphins atm would be collecting data for things like home game splits etc the hope would be to convert those to Merch sales or membership upgrades

They are aiming at over 1 million members. And over 1 million juniors

lol only you can think that the Govt saying they wont run a team equals govt not providing any financial support. They've already stumped up $1/2mill to put the bid together. After Cook rang vlandys he did a 180 on perths prospects, you dont think they offered something in that conversation?

The WA Gov has spent sweet f**k all on PRS over the last 25 years. It doesn't care about sports that aren't fumbleball.

eh? It spent $25mill buying the lease from the council, then spent $100mill building two new stands, a new pitch and two new big screens, and last year spent a further $35mill upgrading lighting, change rooms etc. $160mill spent on PRS in last 10 years.

Its also spent $30mill on a soccer centre, $17mill on a rugby union centre, $40mill on a basketball centre, $36mill on an athletics centre, $9.5mill on grassroots soccer facilities, $135mil to keep national hockey centre in perth, not to mention $400mill on an indoor arena where basketball and tennis play.

But yeh not interested in anything other than AFL lol

How much did the WA Gov spend on Perth Stadium?

$820.7m.

PRS has received a miserly $160m to give a repugnant turd some sheen. It's still a turd.

SCRAPE, the sound of donkey moving goalposts lol

That wasnt what you said, you said they havent spent anything on PRS, they have. you also said they dont spend on other sports, they have. Over $800mill spent on PRS and other sports would suggest you're talking bollox mate.

They're supporting the Glory to the tune of 20mill over the next 5 years. Imagine what they would give to an NRL club?

I don’t think there is any doubt the WA government wants a team there and will support it. I’m generally a fan of PVLs but I just wish we’d get this done. I don’t find the debate about a Perth club even slightly interesting. To me it’s a lay down misere.
