Provide evidence of the nswrl / arl being super conservative or myopic
It’s taken 28 years to get back brisbane2, the biggest no brainer in sports history. Over a hundreds years later and still no club in perth, Adelaide, darwin, tassie. An international game largely confined to Australian and nz trained players, a small part of southern france and northern England. Rugby league is literally the epitome of conservatism when it comes to growth.

Blame that on your old club going to super league

still need some evidence of the arl being myopic

Do you know what the word means?

Cutting perth, Adelaide and brisbane2 in 1998 was myopic. There you go I put it in a sentence for you to better understand lol

Arl didn’t do those things

got anything else or nah ?
I’m talking A culture that has permeated the History of our game. But if you want a more current example here’s another sentence to help you understand the context of the word:

vlandys signing a tv extension and not going to market was myopic
or ARL causing ill feeling in qlnd by not funding clydesdales was myopic
or ARL not sticking with the agreed 10 year international plan was myopic

shall I go on?

Maybe in your game in England it is

now nswrl and the arl were behind a huge expansion push

I knew Papa New Guinea bid was a joke 🤣
The moment I heard about it
Political stunt
We can play state of Origin in
Port Moresby 🤡
Until they take an actual NRL game to PNG I don’t think it can ever be taken seriously. Come back at me saying that they play test matches over there etc but that’s different, let’s see an actual NRL game played in Port Moresby, until that happens I call bullshit.
Can the NRL persuade two clubs to actually play in Port Moresby, if there is going to be a side in the NRL shouldn’t we test the waters first ?.

They've spent more on fumbleball than every other sport combined.
Because it’s the states number one sport you gonk. How much has Sydney spent on rectangular stadiums and nrl cofe’s compared to other sports? That’s how it works. But again you said they’d spent nothing on prs, lie. You said they don’t support other sports, lie. Just admit you were talking out your arse and move on mate.

How much did the WA Gov spend on the Reds?

According to you the only reason the Reds had no one turning up to their games was because they played at an oval.

PRS is a terrible stadium. Its corporate facilities are second rate and two of its sides need to be rebuilt. Its southern stand needs a roof. You're looking at $150-250m just to turn it into a basic stadium.

The 1996 Reds again lol...

here's a list of things that didn't exist in 1996, at least not available to the public:

streaming TV
smart phones
google
social media
fibre optic
online shopping
wifi
bluetooth
electric cars

What didn't exist in 1996 and 2024?

A decent rectangular stadium in Perth.

What existed in 1996 but doesn't anymore?

A professional rugby league club in Perth.

It’s so weird seeing so many qld wanting Perth in ahead of the tigers

most of the support for the tigers come from nrl fans from Sydney plus grotd

is this because they don’t want to share with more clubs ?

the introduction of the dolphins will see broncos crowd average rise close to 40k this year

maybe more qlnd people are pro expansion, rather than more consolidation?

Broncos form will determine that, not the dolphins
