Marsh offers something slightly different with the ball - was getting a bit of swing in England. Just seems to be limited to around 5 overs per innings. Green seems potentially a strike bowler - just doesn't seem to get wickets

With Marsh I imagine its his age. Green is younger but now he is batting at 4.

Looks like Green averages 13 overs a test. Marsh near identical but that number would have dropped since he returned to the side in the Ashes. I expect them to share the workload.

yeah - imagine age and injuries. Seems to bowl around 3 good overs then fall away

I'd like to see Green pitch the ball up a bit more, he really gets a lot of bounce but bowls way to short imo, most of his balls are about hip or rib height

the wickets he takes are generally balls that are pitched up a bit further

he certainly has enough pace

yes - could probably have a bit of variation besides bowling bouncers to Ben Stokes

..because his job is to hit deck hard & give front line pacers a break.

Depends on the conditions, otherwise just a recipe for short spells, injuries abs expensive figures

Bowling full encourages batsmen to drive. Sometimes he has come on early, but he's been used mostly after long spells from the main guys. Bowls how he is told to bowl.

and get wickets in the process, big difference between hitting the top of off stump and hitting them in the ribs

..and not leak runs so they have to go straight back to the front line guys. That's why I don't think you'll see him bowl full in most circumstances when playing as 4th seamer.
.. Against weak west indies tho all bets are off.

You really believe you know what you're talking about. It's impressive and scary

Another pro for Smudge going to opener is opposing teams theoretically should pitch the ball up more. He’s been bogged down (from his excessively lofty standards) post-Archer because they’ve been bowling more short stuff to him. Should get more chance to free those sexy autistic arms opening, or else they ruin their new ball with short crap.

I know that the no.1 batsman in the world isn't ranked no.3. You had trouble getting Ur head around that yesterday, lol..
Smith is the best batsman since Bradman and is still ranked 3rd currently statistically in a "slump" you absolute dumbmerkin. The point I was making was very clear
