Shame, just not up to it in this test - seems par for the course in first tests vs Australia...

Australia have done everything right, their performance has been very impressive

Hopefully get an early wicket or two tomorrow morning, then its just about curtains for NZ and possibly an innings victory to us

For NZ, if they get through the first session wicketless, then they could bat out the day and have possibly a 100 run lead to boot coming into day 5

It is a touch more difficult celebrating BMac's career in his final test comming up when it is debatable whether he deserves selection for it.

If Voges given on 7, this could be a thriller about now. Now its just a wind down to Aus victory.

I am very happy to have 4 wickets (especially williamson and mccullum) tbh. Bj watling is a big wicket based on past form at this ground. The boys just need to keep plugging away in the corridor. Blocking up runs is hugely important

Yeah you've bowled well.

Lyon and Haze are very good bowlers.

Okay so you're assuming you'd just knock over the rest of the side without any problems, nice

Nobody's arguing the better side is well on top, but just like Adelaide a screw up by the umpire has had a huge influence

Australia have been completely dominant

As an aside, I wonder if today's quake in Christchurch has any impact on the 2nd test

Just came out from watching the totally awesome Deadpool movie.

To my suprise we have them 4 down, good bowling or NZ just went full genius?? Jag an early one tomorrow and it could be an innings victory.

Guptill and Latham went genius - some good bowling from Hazelwood

I think even the commentators were fairly exasperated with Latham, and Guptil for their nothing shots.

We really do need to move on from Guptill - he's so flawed it's not funny

Latham is very frustrating - clearly he has the game, technique etc, but gets out once he should be settled - as I said a few pages ago, that's a big thing separating us - your guys make us pay... ours screw up innings when they should be making hay
