As I type, Hamish is on 145. It took Ken 14 innings to get that many runs

Happy, for sure. But there is the huge disadvantage of losing the entire first day to rain, and the forecast doesn't exactly forbid the prospect of more rain over the weekend.

He was nowhere a year or so ago... in youth teams, then dropped from Otago because he wasn't performing and had no contract... then Redmond went through a terrible patch, and Otago brought him back... he's been a different player since (so has Redmond actually)...
