It might seem a bit bizarre but we only need to beat 12,774 to have the highest round 14 crowd average from the last 5 years. That means we need something like 12,600 for the Cows vs Knights game tomorrow night to set the record.
Sure, 13,000 is a low crowd average and people might see it and be a bit dismayed, but it's also possible you're all dissing the new round 14 crowd average record.

It's funny what a good graph will show you....:)

It's the sub 10k crowds which are bringing the clubs down, Dally it dosen't matter what you think the truth is if the people of Sydney aren't prepared to start attending matches clubs will die.

As someone stated the Collingwood v Carlton game (A normal club match) attracted 80K to the MCG on a Sunday afternoon, SOO will be lucky to get that many through the gate.

Sydney needs to be called to arms as so to say otherwise the pokie tax will leave clubs broke and eventualy dead.

More people go and watch one AFL bollocks then a round of NRL games.
The clocks ticking League with have a reunion with Union.

Keep this post and show me it again in 5-10 years.

why would i, they are s**t crowds.

if you think 9000 is an argument to kick out sydney clubs then lets make it consistant for all nrl clubs.

the minute a club gets under a 10,000 crowd they should be kicked out.

so when canberra, melbourne and the warriors do it we will have to relocate those teams.

but where though - back to sydney?
Warriors, Storm and Raiders are expansion clubs and should be supported. Sydney can't have 9 teams with crowds of 9000 turning up to games.

I don't care what anyone says, the Roosters are a f**king disgrace. Almost a full strength team this week playing to get back on top of the table and a prime, Friday night fixture against another Sydney club who were going ok and only 9000 turn up. Souths are running stone motherless and will get close to that on a Monday night against the Gold Coast this week and there will be barely any Gold Coast fans there. When are the Roosters going to wake up and move up the Coast?

the warrios have been around since 1995, 13 years is long enough.

canberra its over 25 years.

so no unless you are going to apply the same criteria across the board then its just a BS argument

so the fact that sydney crowds now are pretty much at their highest levels since 1908 is something youve ignored.

when expressing an opinion on sydney RL crowds it helps to know something about them

The pressures on the clubs aren't the same though..

Sydney could always get sh*t crowds because the clubs' income always came from pokies, with that gone, the clubs need good crowds to stay alive.

You know the Bunnies could piss off out of Sydney to, doesnt matter which of the geniuss leave just as long as one of them does. The Bunnies crowds are just as much of a disgrace.

Souths are capable of pulling decent crowds dependant on results. The Roosters rarely crack 15k even when the going is good lately - he has a point.

Does anyone have their crowds from last year when they were going well? I think it'd put a lot of other clubs to shame...

But if the Roosters move, who is going to use SFS, the greatest league stadium in NSW would be vacant.
