Add another 3 ticketed members to the tigers. Myself & two mates just purchased the Ultimate Gold package. Will be great to be able to have a seat & actually be able to see the game at Leichardt this year :D

Bulldogs have gone through the 9000 mark for total members...
Awesome work, we have nearly got about 2,500 new members and our ticketed membership has had a big increase, hopefully we can crack through the 10k barrier and i guess Malcom Noad was right when he started the whole 10k by 2010 campaign lol

Another Promotion for Discussion:

Harvey Norman Caringbah have purchased an ENTIRE BAY for season ticket holders and will sell these in conjunction with the Sharks for Half Price. So people can get a season seat on the 10-20 metre line for about $125 an adult or $90 concession and less for children.

Not a bad promotion and a different way for businesses to sponser a team.

Good initiative, half price tickets but the club isn't actually losing money on them

whilst there are a few disappointing numbers in that season ticket table to me the worst offender has to be the gc. I really thought when they came in they would be one of the powerhouses in this area.

They are just charging way to much. I prefer how the afl clubs handle this. Start the prices at a reasonable level then when your stadium is packed out every week and demand is huge you can increase the prices a bit.

Even though this post has already been answered i still wonder what you mean when you say they should massively increase. If the storm sell the same as last year that would put them 4th in the league right now.

were you really expecting the storm to sell the most in the entire league?

yes!!!

With the Titans, is it the club being greedy or the rent on the joint? I know their A League side has the most expensive tickets in that comp too. This makes me think its more the stadium that is pushing prices up... who runs it? Qld events (Gov)?

Me thinks Souths are gna win the race to 10,000

Hopefully saints and souths will both have 10k by the charity shield!

I fully expect Souths to win the race too, but since Saints are not keeping their counter current they could be foxing. Great effort by both Clubs!

Looks like the Mexicans are off to a flyer after starting their membership drive so late. I'd say the vast majority of previous members will sign up again and with 1,100 new members joining it can only be good for the game in Melbourne. You'd think they'll surpass last years numbers no worries.

Melbourne Storm charging into March
NRL Fri, 19 Feb 2010 10:44:00

Melbourne Storm normally make their charge in September, now they are making a historic push in February and players and officials couldn’t be happier. Breaking records is nothing new for the club, but even they are surprised at the rate of memberships being taken up by fans.

The Storm are averaging 220 memberships per day since they went on sale only 19 days ago, and currently boast 4217 members.

While the club is in England chasing World Club Championship glory, finishing touches are being added to their state-of-the-art new home ground, Melbourne Rectangular Stadium. The new ground will ensure a world class facility for players, members and sponsors alike.

The Storm are pleased by the amount of new people joining the club for 2010, with over 1,100 new Members already pledged their loyalty to the Storm. Storm halfback Cooper Cronk says the club is well placed heading into their title defence.

“Coming off the Premiership and heading into the new stadium, its really great to see all the members getting behind us for 2010,” Cronk said.

I mean does it really f**king matter, the more people who take out memberhps the better for the game.

I honestly could not give a rats who ends up being the 1st to get 10k members. If it means that much to you I hope its souths, actually I hope every club increases and in a few years every club has at least 10k.

Honestly your attitude flies in the face of what is best for rugby league in this country (mindset of a loser) But here you go anyway
