We're doing just fine without them. If a business (other than a casino) has to rely on pokies to make a profit they're being run terribly.

This. It's like being against a brothel that's across the street from a school but having no problem with a brothel in a red light district. There's a time and place for everything, a leagues club is not a place for pokies, a casino is.

Pokies in society need to go back to the way they were intended - as a means of financing community sports, recreation, and facilities. What buggered everything up was greedy people in Macquarie Street allowing pokies in pubs, then decades later the same people taxing the bejesus out of clubs for pokies but not pubs. But all this argueing about pokies should be in a different place like The Fight Club.

As for that Newcastle jumper, I still reckon the club + NRL logo is too far off to the sides. Will probably look worse when the players get their jerseys fitted.

Obviously BunniesMan hasn't visited the pokie palace that is Souths Juniors, which still supplies players to Wusty's wabbits free of charge thanks to their pokie-backed juniors competition, and has even bankrolled/funded the senior club since Rusty's Home & Away days

I honestly don’t understand how Newcastle can have such a sh*t jersey… They’ve got two historical jerseys which are absolutely awesome but instead they pull out sh*t like this.

To be fair to them, they've maintained the 88 strip as their heritage jersey which still looks awesome, and their alternate strip is also quite simple and effective. Cannot believe how royally they've f**ked the home jersey though.
