The prospect of playing in front of a packed
Odsal next season has the Bulls buzzing.
More than 10,000 supporters have already snapped up season tickets for 2011 thanks to the Pledge 10,000 scheme and centre
Michael Platt admits it has acted as a major incentive to the players.
Theres definitely something a bit special about this season
Michael Platt
There is a buzz about the place, he said. There always is at the start of pre-season and this year definitely does feel different.
Im not going to lie and say I didnt feel good at the start of last year but theres definitely something a bit special. Everyones smiling and I think the pledge thing has played a big part in that.
Odsal has been a bit empty recently, and thats our fault for not performing well, but we know theres going to be a big crowd there every week and were all excited about that.
You come to Bradford to play in front of big crowds and now were going to get a chance to do that. The pledge has been a massive thing and thank you to the fans for coming along and supporting us.
Crowds dipped as low as 6,217 for the clash with Catalans at the tail end of last season a record low for the Bulls in Super League.
But, with 10,639 supporters already signed up, chief executive Ryan Duckett is confident of passing the 11,000 mark in season-ticket sales ahead of the new campaign.
The club are continuing to chase up fans who pledged but didnt make a purchase. Adult prices now stand at £120 for the terraces and £200 for the main stand, while junior membership has stayed at the pledge price of £45.
We are very confident were going to get over 11,000, said Duckett. That would be a fantastic achievement because we set out to hit 10,000 and have comfortably exceeded that.
Sales traditionally slow down after the usual early bird deadline but prices are still very good value so we expect more adult sales, as well as plenty of junior sales.
About four per cent of people who pledged didnt follow through on their pledge and we are still contacting them as well.
The Bulls have also announced that tickets for
Jamie Langleys testimonial game against Halifax on Sunday, January 9 will be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for juniors.
