Hinchcliffe over Farah? Is this serious?

Based on this years form? f**k yeah. Farah has been terrible and doesnt deserve to be in the side unless he seriously turns around his form

Besides, it will bring the lols when he is overlooked for yet another hooker and certain Tigers fans have a meltdown yet again

I still stand by my idea picking the NSW side by emulating QLD.

Pick your players from the top NSW sides. Sharks, Bulldogs and Dragons. At lot of options there.

Farah is our most talented rake, as I said in another post. BUT he is playing like a busted ATM.

Fair enough. Hinchliffe is a glorified Ennis at best though, they do exactly the same things but Hinchcliffe does not give away as many stupid penalties. Most of us hated Ennis as hooker, I don't see Hinchcliffe working out much better at all.

I don't think you'll find many tigers fans picking farah in their squad. He has played 4 games this year Nd didn't set the world on fire in either of them.

Problem is no one else has either. Hinchcliffe is probably a good bet but he doesnt even play hooker for his club...not even for 10mins a game here and there like dean young does.

If all elidgable players are fit and firing I think farah is our best option, but he isn't either of those things atm

Hinchcliffe is nothing like Ennis.

He's just a gritty competitor. Where as, Ennis is a niggly skilled hooker.

This CvC is going to be interesting.

I'm still thinking we will se:

6. Carney
7. Pearce

Agreed
Pearce won the halfback battle by knockout.
Carney played well enough to get the 5/8 spot, Hayne can fit in the team at fullback or on the wing (Brett Stewart would be my first choice fullback, Hayne second choice).

Hayne should be no where near 5/8. Carney will get the nod at 5/8. Pearce will keep the 7.

Farah played well but I think Sticky will go with Bedsy. He's an origin style player. Gidley will be the bench rotation and injury cover off bench. Lewis can fill a utility role as well from the 13.

Only mystery is backline

Fullback? Hayne? Moz? Coote (lol)?
Wingers? Uate is a certain. Other. Moz?

Centers are the hard choice. I just hope Matt King or Leuila don't get bloody picked.

I might get flamed for this. But I actually rate Pearce. He made some great plays, good defense, clean game. He was much improved in Origin last year so no reason he should be dropped.

Carney was very good IMO some great passes, plays and he has a massive boot. The kicks he did on penalty gains and in game where great. He will be there.

I think Stewart at FB mate. Hayne in the center. After his shocker today though...

I rate Pearce as well, he's a very strong defender who won't give the Queenslanders cheap points, and ball in hand he's a quality player. Last time he teamed up with Carney in the halves with no distractions they made a grand final. Definitely worth looking at again for this year.

I prefer Hayne on the wing rather than in the centres, apart from Uate there is no really great wingers for NSW and it's where Hayne has played his best football at origin. We have several good centres to choose from so I think he would be better utilised on the wing, outside someone like Jennings who can create something out of nothing.
