Has the shield on the Coat of Arms changed on the jersey? Looks like it's got green and gold vees and maybe a Southern Cross on it replacing the six states.

Clearly. So therefore it's NOT the Australian coat of arms and has no place on the jersey. Whoever designed this shit at Canterbury and whoever okayed it at the ARLC both need sacking.

I think they have gone a little bit chevron crazy to fit in with the new logo scheme.

• Traditional jersey chevrons
• Side of shorts
• Kangaroos logo
• Added them to crest (WTF!)
• I think they will be on the socks as well but aren't in those pictures

-terrible desecration of a coat of arms
-2 badges on there with the same symbol
-Chevrons not extending high enough

I prefer my cotton Jersey with no sponsor : )

P.s is there any possibility that the coat of arms abomination is just for this announcement/promotional shit? I'm hoping it is

It's not the first time they've messed around with the coat of arms on the Kangaroos jersey.

That was the old Australian Rugby League coat of arms. It was never intended to be anything like the Australian coat of arms. It had two Kangaroos on it and a map of Australia made up of boomerangs. This piece of shit on the new jersey is just a horrible manipulation of the proper coat of arms to incorporate this chevron they are desperate to put on absolutely everything all of a sudden. If they're so keen on the chevron, how about getting the f**king thing right on the bloody jersey!
