The NRL just doubled what it earns with the new TV rights deal. The increase in that income the clubs make dwarfs whatever the 3rd/4th/5th sponsor on the jersey costs.

It's like getting a massive promotion and going from 50k a year to 250k a year and still taking the time to save a few cents by cutting out coupons. Ridiculous.

Limit jersey sponsorships to 1 or 2 max.

I'm all for clubs having as many jerseys as they want. Why should any club be restricted from making a dollar off merchandise sales?

Wonder how much money the Dark Knight jersey put in Melbourne's kitty last season in terms of dollars from Warner Brothers plus the pre-order sales of the tailor made jersey from Kooga.

Rugby league has the worst jerseys out of any professional point. Don't they know it's embarrassing to release efforts like these.

I agree. I haven't bought a broncos jersey since I was a Kid. This heritage jersey they've come up with is piss poor. Looks like they had some surplus jerseys from about 5 years ago that they decided to print some names on. Fair dinkum, Broncos fans should hammer the club for that sh*t.

it's not really a "heritage" jersey as such, just a rehash of an older jersey with names on it. the idea of putting the names on it is right, just the design is wrong. still i have more $ than sense....

i'd have rather seen the stripes across the front with the names on the back where the number goes
