We also had Malcolm Congoo from the Raiders. He didn't work out either. Saw him playing for Gymea A Grade For Newcastle Yowies in the Kurri challenge. Which they won. He did what you would expect of an outside back. Finished off tries and had a turn of foot. Never a favourite of the Sharks coaching staff. Not even sure our Fijian spoke English. Suffered an injury which resulted in his return to Fiji. Never settled.

Kerri challenge finalists Mindi River had a player heading to the Sharks. Jaden Clarke. He was talked up but made many errors.solid dude.

Jaden won the 2012 Arrive Alive cup player of the year.

He played a few 20s games towards the end of the year. He has nice hands and has a bit of size for a kid yet to turn 18. He is a footballer and not a stock standard athlete playing footy. Looked to have put on a few kgs since the 20s season finished.
