Perfect round not to bow to these timeslots but we do it beggars belief there is no defending it. We have one Sunday and only two Saturday games. Having said that, manly crowds are really poor and they really need to look at their future at brookvale oval. At least get better rent sk they can half the price of tickets. I paid 35 to stand on the hill last night. And they don’t have e-tickets so I had to pick it up anyway.

Wow .Those tickets prices are wrong! They are not realistic or attractive to the public at all! NOW that is a real issue : High ticket entry prices! THEIR'S no way I would have attended at that price! Something the marketing people are getting wrong big time!

So Brooky is shit, unpopular and expensive and you still defend it as a future venue in the NRL:wink:

Strange logic? So what does the membership price entail? So far Im stating $35 is way too high for general entry to a Manly game or any NRL game. Remembering as we all know the schedule is littered with poor timeslots . So this will impact on a thinking persons decision to buy. You blokes are geniuses. I certainly would not buy a membership knowing many games would be on at non user friendly timeslots. Don't know about you blokes? You blokes have the answers!

Historically one of the best attended grounds in Sydney, was drawing 15k a decade ago. There's potential there, if there were owners who give a shit about something besides point scoring against other stakeholders in the club and some work done on the facilities I don't see why that can't happen again.

I have zero issues with a move to the SFS however. There are plenty of Waratahs and Swans fans who have some interest in Manly who with some decent targeted advertising could probably be convinced to come to Eagles games there. It would just require a bit of vision from the club.

I haven't bothered with membership since Tooves got the arse (and I probably won't until the club changes hands) and I haven't been a ticketed member since 2006 when I moved away from Sydney but I can completely understand why people wouldn't bother with ticketed memberships if half of the games are going to be at absolutely dross times.

Could actually be good marketing and pricing policy! Who knows? If so that's a rarety in this competition.

This was the first game back since the comm games. There has also been a fair bit of talk in QLD re their stadium deal, so much have brought a few more people out to support them. Seeing as though the government is completely screwing them over re stadium charges.

If today was a perfect day I feel they may have pulled 16-18k, the ticket sales looked good.
