If the NRL has learnt there lesson from having a side in an 'isolated geographical location', it will never place a team in Perth. Perth is one of the most geographically isolated cities in the world.

ah
Perth population 2.1 Million people
the Shire 210,000

theres a difference Id think right there

Try Cronulla to Manly on a Saturday

We are talking about 1.5 hours and traffic like a bastard the entire trip.

Good job you only have to do it once a year then :)

I see plenty of Dragons fans managed an equally arduous trip on Saturday night.

You make a good point actually re Saturday.
These days, the traffic on weekends is actually worse in places than on weekdays.

Anyone have this year’s club home average attendance? Would be interesting to see who’s near the top and who’s lagging behind

The mere thought of trying to cross the spit bridge on a weekend gives me the shts

I would say thats a massive factor for any manly home game

not the point here
a Sydney expert on Canberra (LoL) claimed we're a country town with everything as close as a walk to the corner store

but lets try his 12 times worse traffic theory shall we ?
12 X 40 mins
any 8 hour round trips in Sydney ?
