Clever part, what clever part ? who on God`s earth is going to sit around for 9 hours to watch three games of fumbleball . It would be interminable for even the maddest of fumbleball fans. Bring it on, what a hoot. In fact want to make it even funnier, a couple of cfumbleball-w games interspersed would do the trick.
Clever in that one oval event per year seems to be enough to keep ACCOR oval.

Can’t be 100% but souths bays are selling 2-1 to Penrith, they probably gonna fill they side of bowl no worries by Saturday. I suspect coming closer to the game if the weather holds off there will be late surge of tickets sold

It is the weird way the are released but should be the bottom bowl sold out atleast.

I suppose the idea no one loses a home game is interesting. So just add an extra round where no one gets advantage or disadvantage its all neutral.

Should the NRL go down that path play 25 games not 24 games with the magic round so everyone still gets 12 home games.

Either that or create another event round and everyone gets 11 home games wherever they like and 1 “home” game at either Magic or the new round.

Edit: just read other comments and yeh it might not be so easy with 17 teams.

I am not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but the AFL is having a magic round in Sydney the weekend after Easter. Clearly Gil has been drinking his own bath water. As if any game (even a double or triple header) not involving the Swans will draw over 15k. Sat @ ACCOR as well. NRL needs to fixture some big games to squash this concept first time around.
Have you noticed Nick Cave doesn't mention Rugby League at all when in fact MW was first set up by Rugby League.

If that’s on the player tunnel side that’s for Accor Stadium members of which Souths have quite a few off that should be reasonably full.
Nah the other side. Now they are selling the bays on top of it. But the side facing the camera it’s only the first three levels

DT is suggesting that they expect 50-55k, the article is behind a paywall so I won't link. Hopefully Saturday is a ripper of a day and the walk ups are huge.

Level 4 west is never on public sale as it is all for stadium members. Level 4 east is almost all sold except for the corners. These will be put on sale as soon as the centre bays are gone.
Is also doesn't look like Level 3 north has been put on sale yet, surely this will be available soon.

Looks good so far.
