Some great for last weekend. This week not looking so good. Might struggle to crack a 10k average this week.

THU Sydney v Brisbane, SCG - 14k

FRI Melbourne v Gold Coast, AAMI - 11k
FRI Manly v Parramatta, 4 Pines - 15k

SAT Souths v Warriors, Sunshine Coast - 9k
SAT Canberra v Penrith, GIO - 12k
SAT Cronulla v St G Illa, Pointsbet - 11.5k

SUN Canterbury v N Qld, Bundy - 7k (capacity 8.5k I think?)
SUN Wests Tigers v Newcastle, C'town - 10k

10k should be easy enough to clear, I think I'm being fairly conservative in my estimates?

what , from 11500 to 12000 ?
please , there is nowhere to increase the capacity to an acceptable level unless they tear down & construct entire grandstands

the place is presently a shit hole
thats the only fact I need to get right & I did
Ever thought perhaps your presence makes a significant contribution to the place being the suggested “shithole”

You are very opinionated for a nobody

make sure you don’t come back wanker

Anything under 10k at Jubilee is poor even against a non-Sydney team. Weather can play a factor but form plays a prt too.

I think your being generous in the roosters game.
QLD Club on a Thursday night at the Scg. It’ll be lucky to make 9k.
the sunny coast & Bundy games will also be lucky to make 9k each.
C’Town has been pretty average for a while now And could easily get less then 10k.
Sharks & Raiders games will be around 11k.
Storm at 6pm and not in great form. It’s hard to predict and could get anywhere between 9k-11k.
Manly’s Max would be around15k.
If some bad weather comes it could pretty dismal.
I hope I’m wrong. There is potential for the Raiders game to surprise.

so
the Raiders got 12K against the warriors & this week still needing to win every game they can to make the finals , you think they'll get 11K against the most dominant club side
( albeit understrength so we are a chance of actually winning ) since 1995 ?
Its a perfect storm for one of the biggest club crowds they've had in decades

Ahhh, I'd give up the predicting if i were you

3 games with restrictive capacities ( Bundaberg , Sunshine Coast & Shark Park ) in the one round won't help the overall aggregate for the round
That & the roosters stinking up the joint as the cherry on the cake top & we have a poor total

Manly might be ok
Melb ... seriously who knows ?
Tigers .... idk , might be good , might be dissapointing
Raiders ... if they get what they're predicting ( & they should , big game , big opponent but weakend so more raiders fans will think we can win lol , weather not too bad ).. it will be north of 20K

I did say there’s some potential for the raiders game. I’d love to see a 20K plus crowd.

Storm $85 for good seat, seriously clubs need to wake up and smell the coffee!
Even the cheap seats can be expensive. While afl.

AFL continues its commitment to affordability by freezing general admission tickets at $27 Adult, $18 Concession and $5 child. Kids under 4yo continue to be free.

In a new initiative for 2022, a $50 family ticket has been introduced, which consists of 2 Adults and 2 Children, normally $64.

nrl really need to match that sort of price in the larger stadiums to ensure we aren’t pricing out families. And by larger stadiums I mean anything that takes 20k plus.

We are pricing a lot of fans out. Charging $70-90 for a good seat and $30-50 for an avg one is way too much. Should be $40 good seat, $20 avg one amd $10 kids in any seat. f**k off the booking fee bs as well!

You can’t get rid of booking fees as those big companies have a monopoly on stadiums.

I do think you can have more pricing tiers though. Between the two forty metre lines. That $70 a ticket. 20-40m line say $50. The rest can be GA or have another pricing point for behind the posts vs goal line to 20m.

But the big one for me is having family packages throughout all those tiers. Cause that’s the groups that will bring the next lot of fans through the gates. And have family groups like pay for a adult. Then a child ticket is like $10 extra on the sidelines. Or $5 extra for GA. With up to 2 child tickets per adult able to be purchased. Simple things really.

To be fair, with just shy of 40K members - a large proportion of whom have season tickets - we should be getting at least 20K with ring-ins (paying for their seats). 6pm Friday will make it hard to get to for many, and lose a few more with Demons v Pies across the road, but less than 14K should be disappointing.
