Milford at $450k would be worth role of dice

You'd be better off re-signing Moylan on $400k since he has existing combinations (surely he gets let go though).

Doubt we go looking for halves in 2022... likely to re-sign SJ, Townsend's still under contract, Tracey, Trindall and Metcalf beating the door down behind them.

Mate, absolutely 100% spot on! Will have nowhere near the success at another Club.

Think Drinkwater and Croft.

I cant think of any player that has left Melbourne and really gone on with it?

Cronk won a couple of rings...not a bad effort

Latrell Has turned down Souths. Gettim Bomber!
Has he ? Wonder where all this latest two and fro leaves the salary cap. i think morriss said that this yr we still only have 28 in squad . . probably no money to do anything but . I get the feeling that 2022 is the target for real shot at the title . In saying that should still be trying to win every game , every year, you just never know.

Apparently South's tabled a 4 year deal to Latrell, but he (and his manager) only want 2 years. So he has rejected South's and has confirmed there have been talks with Brisbane. His manager also added that almost all NRL clubs have made inquiries into Mitchell.
Havnt got a link but it should be easy to find mate.

Player managers will also be leveraging contracts as if confirmed by NRL 17 teams in 2023

I think any club signing him on a 4 year deal is crazy, he's pretty inconsistent and his off field track record isn't great.

I'd give him 2 years in a heartbeat.

his asking price is a worry, and he hasn't put performances on the board for a while now...his success also came on the back of a very dominant Roosters side of which he was largely the cherry on top with some occasional big plays. I don't think he'd be a positive signing for us tbh... we've moved into real positive territory with the development approach and adding reliable, quality signings with McInnes. Signing Latrell is more on par with signing Dugan, Moylan, Johnson, Woods which has had such mixed results.

We gotta drop the big money offers. Definitely should have learned from Doogs (who's great, but was initially disruptive), the Holmes offer, Moylan and the first year of SJ.. having someone being paid close to a mil is disruptvie

We should go carefully with so called ‘marque’ players. We don’t have the money for the Lattrels and Fulou’s of this competition. Think of the value we have received from Gal (unwanted at Parramatta) , Wade , Prior, even Ennis( part of the furniture at the dogs) . I see McInnnes as that kind of player as opposed to Tolman who I feel is a waste of money. Money we should be spending on training programs like yoga and hypnosis , yeah I know it’s fringe stuff . We had yoga and it was dropped , injuries went up. We have a big group of young players that need to focus on confidence , how to keep it going through the season.

Tolman is on 150k a year. How can you see that as a waste of money for what he brings and his experience.
