Anyway, this is a crowd thread so welcome aboard Mr Toowoomba AFL player who becomes yet another poster posting almost exclusively in the crowd thread who 'is an afl fan first but.....'
Thanks I guess aha, I don’t post much on BF or PC either, just scroll away numbingly to pass the time at uni/work. I’m just a data nuffy in general so that’s probably why I’m here. Onwards and upwards though

Checked this out for myself and yeah despite ticketek saying there single seats left in 2 bays, if you actually try to buy said single seat you get this message

View attachment 73124

Safe to say its as close to a sellout as you get with ticketeks stupid website quirks
Can't buy a seat anywhere at AAMI PARK.. It's a sellout as much as roosters/dragons game.

There's no code war. It's rugby league fans sticking up for themselves against Victorians who are convinced that their run around like demented chickens game will take over NSW and Queensland if the good people of those states 'just watch one game'.

Same for the rugger mob. League has never said that union will be dead in 20 years, unlike them. Throw in soccer who writh with jealousy that their code doesn't get the coverage league or afl gets.

Everyone has their favourite sport whether it's League, AFL ,ALeague, Ice Hockey., I don't know what's wrong with that.I think each sport has their own skills is and good to watch..Living in Victoria I have noticed more people following Rugby League because of Storm and MORE MEDIA COVERAGE..25 yrs ago there was hardly any coverage of NRL by Channel 9 into Melbourne. At Storm games I see AFL supporters sitting in the crowd with their AFL Scarves or jerseys cheering on Storm (and sometimes opposition teams). There is a lot of collaboration between Storm and some AFL teams in training.

93,633 so far for the round, so we need 66,367 or above to achieve 3 consecutive rounds of 20K crowd averages (and 4th out of 8 rounds)

Hopefully doable with both games sold out, but there isn't much room for significant no shows.

Next round will be almost impossible to keep the 20K run going with Cronulla, Wagga & Bathurst all featuring (won't be much over 33K for those 3 combined).

Brisbane will hopefully eclipse 40K and Warriors are on track for another 20K+ crowd, so hoping they put up a solid performance today, let's say 22K.

CommBank & WIN Stadium both look like they'll both get over 15K each, whilst 4Pines will possibly continue with its 14K average for the season.

That was the same 84k that was there last week, and the week before that, and month ago and year ago.... nothing ever changes it's just the same people who attend every week, no new fans, but in our game we attract new fans every week. Alot of AFL fans watch RL. However I couldn't as this dribble code does not appeal to me one fkn bit.

If you loved the atmosphere up in Townsville this will blow your mind.

Suncorp’s noise containers are incredible. You best get your tickets asap - pretty close to selling out.
Yes I concur

the only problem it’s full of Queensland boguns but that can’t be helped

parts of Caxton aren’t bad but the pub was feral as hell

best bet was to go to the valley afterwards even if it’s a Wednesday night or go back to the Gold Coast and go to Hollywood showgirls
