The NRL starts paying clubs to move bum fixtures around how do you think the clubs not given this cash are going to react mate?
They already do, perth next week for example. WA govt is paying nrl and they put the offer out to clubs who’d like to play in it and pay them accordingly.

So the WA government is paying then, not the NRL, who are acting as an intermediary.

Gotcha.

I'm sure if the NZ Government wants to shell out the NRL would be more than obliging.

Looking like this will go at least 15k+
East Grandstand is pretty much sold. Looks to have sold about the same as the Cowboys game. Lots of Kiwis on the Gold Coast and the Warriors doing well will get them out in force. Wouldn't be surprised if there was 12k Titans fans and 7k warriors, with the Wahs support being more vocal.

Last Perth NRL double header got 38,800 assisted by the novelty of the new stadium just opening and peoples first chance to experience it.
If we break 40k on Saturday that's a great outcome for NRL and the game here in WA. Especially as three of the teams are not the big draw teams for Perth.

would expect it to be similar to the 16k against the Cowboys unless the different time is an issue
Were their many Cowboys fans at that game?

Definitely seemed to be a sizeable contingent of Cowboys fans too. Probably 4-5k. Seems to be around 12k Titans fans that turn up week in week out. Maybe i'm a bit bias but I see the titans as a sleeping giant. Give them a couple of years of success (top 6 and consistent) and they'll be hitting 20k every home game easy.

Actually looking into the sand (red bay) sales, as long as members turn up and GA is sold at a similar rate could be looking at 20k+ for the Warriors clash.
