NRL pin-up Reece Walsh has been embroiled in a grand final week drama after being involved in a spat with a teenager at a fan day in Sydney on Thursday.
The Broncos superstar retaliated to a comment made by a young Panthers fan, who told Walsh that Penrith prop forward Moses Leota “was going to take your head off” on Sunday night.

Reece Walsh's retort to young Panthers fan

Brisbane Broncos superstar Reece Walsh had a run-in with a Penrith fan at Circular Quay on Thursday
Walsh, as he was being escorted from the fan forum back to the team hotel, appeared to tell the fan “I’ll take your mum’s”.
The NRL Integrity Unit has been made aware of the incident after a complaint was made to head office about Walsh’s reaction.

The Brisbane Broncos are also aware of the video but declined to comment when contacted by the Herald on Friday afternoon. The Broncos are privately fuming with the organisation of Thursday’s event, which they believe contributed to their fullback’s reaction.
It’s not the first time Walsh’s words have landed him in hot water. The 21-year-old Brisbane star was handed a three-game suspension back in July after he was found guilty of contrary conduct against the Titans back in round 18.

The judiciary deemed Walsh used abusive language and directed a verbal spray at referee Chris Butler during the match.
The video has surfaced on the same day as ARLC chairman Peter V’landys described Walsh as a marketing dream for the code, referring to him as “charisma on steroids”.

“He’s got charisma and presence, Reece Walsh,” V’landys told Nine’s Today.
“He’s the Justin Bieber of rugby league. They look like brothers ... He’s just something out of the box, he’s a brilliant player,” he added. “He’s charisma on steroids and we want to promote him in the [United] States and we think we can bring in significant new revenues for the game.

Some carer or whatever has snitched on Reece to the law over something dumb.

That is not how we do things out west.

I suppose the little snot is suffering permanent psychological damage.

And the kid as well.

Vlandys and his Las Vegas crap for the almighty gambling dollar. Not a great idea for the teams prep etc. priorities.

Broncos blew their load on Saturday with the offloads. Ive heard Kevvie interviewed a few times since and he keeps denying it was a plan. He isn't a very convincing liar. I think he knows they have given us an 80 minute look at their game plan & is regretting it. They probably should have kept a lid on them and just done enough to win.

It's still their best shot & no doubt we would have been ready for it anyway, but the more video we have to work with the better.

On the other hand we just did what we always do. If we do have any trick shots, no one has seen them yet.
I think you are spot on. They plan to break up the defence with offloads.
