Crawley and Paul Kent went on about this exact thing on NRL360 in the lead up to last years GF. Just highlights their hatred of Penrith.
I think it was 2021 they really went hard about it, I dont recall it coming up last year. But in the Souths GF lead up they pretty much dedicated an episode of 360 on it and Vonny flicking the bean over Skeletor.

Every year the rest of the NRL gets vaccinated against smugness, but there is still no known cure.

Ho hum, all you guys need to do is tune in for the last second in a grand final to enjoy the entire season.

I know pre-gf affairs are a nuisance and tiresome, but try to enjoy.
Not bothered by smugness or arrogance. Just know that other nrl fans hating your team is not jealousy. Why don’t HIA protocols apply to expensive playmakers?

Yeah maybe it was 2021. I remember thinking they could also run a story on the amount of times Nathan got taken down after getting a kick away but surprisingly they never did.

Ha ha, he didn't look even close to concussed. Even if they sent him for a HIA is would have been cat 1, he would have passed and nothing to see here. Game was over at that point anyway. Keep up the outrage though, we like angry tears.

Which Bronco gets the inevitable "shut down Cleary" assignment? Last year it was supposed to be the formidable Nathan Brown.
Smurf Mahoney also had a few goes until he realised it was too hard.

Arthur with such great coaching his chosen enforcer didn't even play the match.

Sometimes at Penrith, you tend to lose track of grand finals.

A burden that you need to carry on your broad shoulders.

Im sure it’s lonely being at the TOP with daylight second lol

Belt them into oblivion!

There are five people who will decide the fate of this game. JFH, Martin, Leota, Kenny and Leniu. They win the battle in the forwards, we win. Simple as that. Lose that battle, the offloads start, field position is lost and we lose. They have more pace than us everywhere. Literally, in every position in the back five they are quicker.

If they can reproduce what they did against the Parra forwards, we can win this. Character and fitness will win this for us, nothing else. We can't out-skill them.

Hahaha we can win this game in many ways. This Broncos side hasn't been tested. Cleary alone can win the match off his boot

Just do what Penrith always does. If there’s one extra thing to focus on after last weekend it’s shutting down their offloads. But you generally want to do that against any side.
