I don't know how NSW would go about turning things around but for mine the selections of Tedesco, Trbojevic, Moses, Cook and Young aren't needed, could probably go without Robson as well unless we really need someone again.

I love Tedesco but form wise (Both club and Origin) shouldn't have seen him picked here, Trbojevic's body clearly isn't up for Origin anymore and that cost us big this time around, Moses did his best but Reynolds was the right choice, Cook is too old and Young has been unspectacular.

Surely we have better options, I for one would be interested in future (Either this year or next) to see how Dylan Edwards would go in the Origin arena, Campbell Graham called up to join Latrell in the centres (Probably happens now), Cleary/Hynes/Reynolds for the halfback spot, Api returns (Not this year obviously) to hooker and Liam Martin gets the starting spot over Hudson Young.

Game 1 2024 hopefully looks like the following:

1. Edwards 2. To'o 3. Latrell 4. Graham 5. Addo-Carr 6. Luai 7. Cleary/Hynes (Whoever is in best form) 8. Payne Haas 9. Api 10. Paulo 11. Martin 12. Murray 13. Yeo

14. Burton 15. Spencer Leniu 16. Jake Trbojevic 17. Angus Crichton (Hopefully returns to the form that once made him one of the best)

One of the strangest things nsw fans do and it's likely down to club agendas is search for scapegoats when the problem is so obvious and it's fittler

On the whole that nsw team should be competing with Queensland. We certainly had pretty fair yardage.

But just think of the impact on the team of having Cook play in the centres. It impacts pretty much everyone.
We won almost every stat except linebreaks and points scored.

Individually I thought most of the Blues players did ok. The stats also back that up, sadly it aint an individual game.
Freddy just didn't make it work with whatever it was they were trying to do.

Moses and Luai both had some nice moments, but no one was on the same page, shit kick chase, no support, it was bizzare.

Playing Yeo as the point of attack needs to stop now. He keeps his spot, but go sparingly on the amount of ball he gets, his defense is first rate and hit ups are fine, but let the halves be halves.
