He's not the only player past or present who ticks both those boxes. Everything to do with the way he carries himself, he comes across as rather smug and someone who reckons he's better at everything than he actually is.

Speaking of people who talk terribly, there goes Alana Ferguson in the One Community ad opening her mouth and killing my boner with that drawl...
No he doesn’t.
The very first thing he did was give credit to NSW.
He is articulate and stupid people are threatened by that.

Sure, articulate in the same way that one tradie on a work site who finished year 12 is articulate.

He's a smarmy arrogant little merkin who acts like he plays for Penrith, that's why people don't like him.

Tbh, he sounds fairly pragmatic and tends to talk up the people around him. He's a premiership winner who's captained several SOO series wins. There are so many players more smug with less achieved, but when you captain Manly and Queensland you have a fair sized target on your back.

Just came back from the game. FMD - how many people jumped the fence to try and streak onto the field?

for those watching on TV, did they show any of the streakers?

I don't think they should play the dead rubber. Absurd that Qld lose a match and feel down , but then have to try to celebrate a series win. Conversely, NSW feels happy even though they've lost the series. Just doesn't make sense emotionally and for practical reasons, considering clubs need their players fresh.

Something about him just screams Junior Liberals, Land Rover driving, chinos rolled up three times at the ankles, thinks young people complaining about housing affordability is a load of rubbish because mum and dad paid 75% of the deposit on his two-storey Ascot house. In other words, the kind of person who is the reason people with two last names have the reputation they do.
He’s perfectly suited to the 15 man game, only one problem he actually has talent.

Meaningless win but better than three zip.

Space cadet finally figures out how to use Yeo and Murray together.

Yeoweh if my stats reading is correct didn't miss a single tackle all series. The bloke is the best defender in the league and teams just can't through the middle when he is on the field.
