One thing the roosters have done right this year is play well at the SFS with a 4/4 success rate.

I can't see that changing this week given the low standard of opposition.

I think I would rather poke my eyes out with a hot fire poker than watch this match.

Roosters might be a shout with Suaalii suspended... they'll improve quite a bit defensively without him.

No excuses for Penrith who are almost full strength minus Cleary and May. We have the better 17.

Roosters at this stage are missing Daniel Tupou, Brandon Smith, Victor Radley and Connor Watson. Their depth is struggling with Sam Walker and Paul Momirovski out as well (Though they are no certainties in the best 17).

I forgot about this week being no origin players out.

Next week after this round. Panthers playing in cruise control V Dragons and after a bye with players returning needed that game to blow out the cobwebs to prepare for this game.

Eventfull 1st half, but like most of our games, we'll draw away with at least a 38-12 win.

While i'm not expecting a routing ( or hoping not anyway ) of the game like a few weeks ago, Panthers will be way to strong.

We just played these lot a few weeks ago (gotta love the NRL draw..) but now they get a shot at us without Nathan and at their home. It will be much closer but our defence should hopefully be too strong.

Danger game. Going to be an ambush. Have to dig deep. Respect the opposition. Get through our sets. Can’t make too many errors. Get to our kicks. Players are going to have to step up. Play for each other. Play percentage football. Play for 80 minutes.
