May have. We are awaiting confirmation of what their definition of viewers means. Is it average? reach? peak?

News at 11
It could be reach

if games were getting 90k on pay tv I would think 700k across both pay tv and fta for a major event is average

It was 1-2 in the now redacted season launch speech.

The quotes have been removed entirely from afl.com.au

No they havent and the exact quote was

"We are seeing those numbers lifting above pre-covid levels, particularly in Queensland where AFL – within a year or two - is on the brink of being the biggest code in the state. Something unthinkable a decade ago."

Thanks. It’s important that people see Gill for the massive wanker he truly is

was thinking about this yesterday...obviously compared to the men's comp, 40k viewers is small...but Id love to know how NRLW fares in comparison to the other female comps (AFLW,a-league,super-w and netball), plus against other sports like NBL and super rugby...
it seems like it holds its own.
Im happy to come up with the comparisons if someone can point me towards the data.

They have been posted, 700k was posted by NZSkysport for first week of finals.

I prefer to believe this guy over your post currently.

Looks like 2 games for Warriors only.

Still a lead to the NRL.

Until theres further clarification, Im not including them with Australian data.

I mean theres literally no actual released data in this post he made other than the one sky release of 700k. None of the other NZ data exists.

f**k knows where he pulled 30k for the warriors from, let alone the automatic assumption of an automatic doubling for the final.

I prefer to believe this guy over your post currently.

Of course you do, it supports your preferred out come. I dont have a preferred outcome when it comes to the data - Im still waiting for confirmation of what those SkyNZ numbers actually are. And since neither you nor he can say definitively, you can all go and have a nice time behind the sheds for all i care.
