Wouldn’t each conference play 2 x 8 games within their conference as you can’t play against yourself?

Sydney teams would love Conference A. But Raiders / Knights would hate being in Conference B

Btw talking to a mate who is a Dragons fan today he said hasn't the Eels v Dragons rivalry these days turned into a dead one.

While the Dogs, Manly and Penrith rivalries with parra have lived on and thriving. The Dragons one has died in the arse.

I assume there was something there between the 2 clubs previously but is no longer relevant.

Since the joint venture and NRL only scheduling the 2 sides to play each other once a year in the past 5 years it's really an afterthought now.

You would say we have a bigger rivalry with the Tigers then the Dragons these days

I Dunno The Raiders have to already travel to NZ but the Warriors don't have to travel to Canberra in 2024. It evens it out for those teams in that conference.
