FINALLY!!! Well done to the club and we need more of this more often!

That finally settles everything about Graham, Tatola, Tass and Lovett to the mainstream media.

Glad to hear that Hosty and Shaq are close! I guess Trell is still up in the air.

This is some news on Trell. Good news I guess, but Round 24 may be too late. Really hoped to get him back for that Storm game.

However, avoiding surgery is always good news.

Latrell Update
Latrell Mitchell’s hopes of playing again this season have been given a massive boost after meeting with a specialist on Tuesday.

Mitchell has been told he is likely to miss three more games because of the foot injury which ruled him out of Origin III.

There were fears he would have to undergo an operation but the specialist has confirmed that the injury is repairing itself nicely after scans on Monday.

Any surgery would have ended Mitchell’s season.

The timeline keeps the door ajar for Mitchell to play again this year.

He will miss the clash against Canberra on Sunday but has a chance to return for the Rabbitohs in round 24 to take on the Tigers.

Devastating. Absolutely guttering for AJ, and I'm shattered for him. That's a horrendous injury, especially for the type of player he is. This will now see him miss most, if not all of 2025 Pre-Season and he'll start next year on the back foot.

That try-scoring record just got a hell of a lot harder. God, I feel for him.

Also, not good at all about Cody, that's the last thing we need. it was being reported as a hip flexor injury, but Hornby said it was a calf. Fingers crossed it's nothing major.

Injuries in 2024 huh.........

All these injuries are happening cause the team isnt fit. There not fit enough for a gruelling NRL season let alone NRL games. I hope Bennet whips them into shape.

Gutted to have that confirmed for AJ, but we already knew that was the case I guess.

That isn't good on Trell either, still four more weeks in a boot. That would put his return at Round 26. Not much point coming back to be honest, that will be him done. Gutted.

Good news on Shaq though, and hopefully no mention of Cody is a good sign too.

Yep no need to rush Latrell back now, season done for the club. Hopefully the team just enjoys the next 6 rounds, stay as injury free as possible, my only wish is we finish higher then the Broncos hahaha

Alex Johnston needs to examine several NFL players and their methodology in recovering from torn Achilles tendons.
1. Star veteran Jets QB Aaron Rodgers. In September last year Rodgers at 40 years of age suffered what Johnston did: he collapsed in pain in the back field of the season opener with zero contact on him. He then underwent surgery: Rodgers was back at practice in a remarkable 77 days. He even wanted to resume playing in December that season. Rodgers is now 41 and ready to go. He attributes his amazing recovery to a surgical technique named "speed bridge" and to a strict diet boosting collagen levels.
2. Cam Akers Rams RB. In late July 2021 Akers tore his AH tendon. He was cleared to practice on December 21 the same year and played in the Rams' final regular season game on Januray 9 2022. Akers went on to have 67 carries for 172 yards on the Rams' 4 playoff games, including their SB Championship win.
If Johnston does his homework, and is disciplined, he will be back on the field at the start of next season. He has to be driven by the fact that Irvine is only 17 scores away and that the team will hit the ground running under Burt.
