What Saffa's do we have that can play? Elliott isn't in our test team.

Cannot play yet - he is sitting out residency.

Those stats - most of which achieved in SA (was 12th man in two tests) - are as harmonious as the music the namesake composer created. Chose NZ over England would you believe? Left Surrey to goto Otago of all places. Anyway - thankyou Nel, Ntini and Pollock - you gave NZ something inadvertently.

Didn't we lose 1-0 in a 3 match series to India and Aus lost 2-0 in a 2 match series:lol::lol::lol:

Looking forward to this summer being over already LOL, it is getting embarrassing now. I guess it was always coming but it is going to hit harder than it had to because of selectors, coaches and administration of Cricket Australia.

Don't forget England scored over 500 here last series even though we had McGrath and Warne ... just shows how sublime of a batting pitch this is
.

Our batsmen totally let us down yesterday.

That's right; Neil Wagner qualifies March 2012. I'm counting the days. We also have Kruger Van Wyk to take over wicket-keeping duties now that McCullum is hitting double tons as an opener. It's going to be great hearing the Aussie commentators whingeing about our Saffers!!!

Not that excited about Kruger Van Wyk to be honest. Sounds like the bad guy in a Bond film and he is no Sangakarra, Gilchrist, Flower, Haddin or Prior with the bat so far to be honest.

Brownlie (Aus) and Wagner (SA), I think, are the ones to watch, though Brownlie could be another Lou Vincent. Wagner is certainly the most exciting prospect since Bond, if not Hadlee.

I do agree but I think Punter and Pup got very good pills. Pup may have been ok if he was in better form. Katich run himself out, TBH. Anderson is on fire and sadly none of our bowlers are fit to wipe his arse.

 Settle down, he looks alright but that is a ridiculous call.

If Guptil can fullfill his potential then we're going to have the best batting lineup we have had for quite sometime.

LOL 75 odd years after bodyline Australia are fighting back with helmet-line.

Three men out for the hook...truly innovative stuff, Punter.

They lost a series to Bangladesh aswell.

I reckon the Banga's could take Aussie in a test series on their own soil. I remember a test match there where they had you in all sorts for while....the test before the one where Gillespie got his double ton. This 5th rate Aussie side would be pulverized by Shakib.

Anyway, in terms of that poor result for NZ: it was one day cricket. We are concentrating on test cricket going forward. We purists don't like the contrived forms of the game.

But, but, but, but New Zealand are a better one day team than a test team  When New Zealand actually climb above us in any ranking then you can talk.

You seem like a cricket fan. Did you know that the series average for Cook Trott partnerships in 2010 Ashes is 512. Clearly that will come down when the partnership is broken. However, Cook Trott partnerships have added 471 runs since that last happened.
