We can only climb up from here. You guys are at 5, and we are at 7, so the clash next year is going to be critical for both nations to see if one of us can get up among the top echelon of test nations - among the likes of Sri Lanka, Indian and South Africa.

Well I wouldn't but the selectors do or Ricky does. TBH I don't think we have a promising spinner in the country. O'Keefe is a decent spinner but I don't see him being any better than Hauritz at test level. I would have preferred O'keefe ahead of Doherty though.
